It took longer to start project due to trouble with dates but once day was decided everything went smoothly and professionally. Miguel finished his job, and clean everything before leaving.
He showed up on time, worked fast, and was really friendly. The lower shelf was exactly what I requested. Much appreciated!
I needed wood panels installed as an accent wall in my living room. Miguel custom cut everything to make sure it was perfect and the results were perfect! I highly recommend hiring him
We had a master bedroom closet shelf with hanging clothes collapse due to 1x2 snapping and shelf support buckled. Placed a call in the morning and Revamp Home Improvement was out same day! They expertly replaced the support 1x2 with a 1x4 AND replaced the one metal shelf support with three to provide way more support! They could have just replaced the old with same but provided a more secure-quality solution. All work was professionally done in 1 hour! Highly recommend Revamp Home Improvements for your Carpentry needs.
Miguel did a great job adding wood shelving to our closets to replace the wire rubbermaid track shelving that was previously installed and not a great fit for the space. He worked quickly, his quote was affordable, and he was knowledgeable about the best way to use the closet space to fit our needs. Would definitely work with him again. Thanks Miguel!
I love my cabinets. I highly recommend. I would definitely call him again!
Oh my goodness Miguel was awesome. He responded very quickly to my inquiry, arrived early to our scheduled appointment and created the most beautiful work. My husband and I are in awe of his work and have already discussed utilizing him for our needs in the future. Such amazing craftsmanship!
Lies. Unreliable. Untrustworthy. Kept saying they would show up and never showing up. Impossible to contact because the phone number never gets answered and the voice mail is all full. missed appointment and failed to contact to reschedule. Don't waste your time with this outfit. They'll only disappoint.
Miguel added shelves exactly the way I wanted at a reasonable price. The shelves were well built - sturdy and level.
Wonderful job done in a short amount of time. Easy to work with. Quality carpentry for fair price. (Shelving a closet rod/shelves not baseboards)
They understood the assignment. I contacted 3 different companies who came to give me a quote. Out of the three, I went with Revamp because they were the most punctual (other two were both at least 30 minutes late), had excellent communication but most importantly they understood what I was needing. Which is a very simple hanging closet room. He was very easy to work for and quality of work is outstanding/efficient while the price stayed fair. We will be using them for other home projects I have.
I’m not one to write bad reviews, but our experience was horrible and I’d hate for anyone else to go through this. We hired Miguel because he had the best reviews of all the businesses we considered to install our baseboards, and decent pricing. We were quoted $3870 for 2 days of work, new baseboards for our home, and all paint and finishing work. At the end of the first day, they told me they “finished” and accepted my payment. After they left and I inspected their work a bit closer, I immediately regretted trusting them and not checking their work better before paying them. They came with pre painted baseboards and after putting them up, they filled the nail holes sloppily and didn’t paint over them. You can see the difference in sheen between the paint and the sloppily placed wood filler. There are several places that weren’t filled at all. They left gaps in 3 places in our kitchen, “forgot” to put molding along our guest bath and our master shower, didn’t properly finish seams, got paint/caulk on our brand new flooring, etc. The baseboards have scuffs all over them, and need a fresh coat of paint to cover up all of the marks. The clearly visible cuts every single outlet in our home is unacceptable, and they didn’t even try to cover the seams (see photos). I contacted Miguel immediately and told them they needed to come back to finish their work or refund us the charge for the finishing work. They told us they’d return the next evening, then he texted me 30 minutes before they were supposed to arrive and said they couldn’t make it and would just send a refund. Now, we are left with a ton of finishing work and have so many errors and sloppy work to fix. We have spent months DIY-ing projects in our home, and this was a big splurge to have these done so it could be one less project on our plate. This whole process has been such a headache. Do not hire this business if you want someone who pays attention to detail. You will be disappointed.
Miguel was truly a professional! He and assistant did a great job as you can see from pics. (Pics don’t do ceiling justice) Miguel is coming back soon to install more shelves in the closets and installing stained pine in the outdoor patio ceiling. Would definitely recommend.
Miguel did a great job on our closet renovation. He is kind, punctual, professional, and a hard worker. Working in Texas heat is not easy! I recommend his business and definitely plan to use him again for future projects.
Miguel arrived on time and was very nice and professional. His quality of work and attention to detail is exceptional. Definitely will hire again.
I had Miguel install crown molding throughout my main floor they were on time, professional, and did an awesome job. I would highly recommend them.
Miguel Delatorre and his crew built me an amazing storage closet in my home. I was so impressed with the final outcome, WOW. I will be calling Miguel for all my carpentry and trim work for future projects. I highly recommend Miguel. He was extremely nice!! They were able to finish the job in one day. It looks AMAZING!!!
Miguel was fabulous from start to finish! He was very punctual for our first meeting and when installing our new baseboards and door trim. He was every quick with a quote and to schedule the work too. He showed up early on the day of installation and took less than 12 hours to complete everything! The quality of the product he installed is great, and his professionalism is amazing! We are so pleased with the work and our home looks beautiful. Thank you again Miguel!
They did such a great job with my crown molding and shelving. Will definitely hire again.
