It was a pleasure meeting with him . He takes great pride in his work. He does not rush just to get the job done. He meet me at lowe’s to help me pick out some supplies that was needed for the job. The quality of his work is impeccable. I LOVE ❤️ MY BACKSPLASH. I will be using him for other projects that i will be doing in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY TILE WORK THAT YOU ARE CONSIDERING HAVING DONE. Cheryl A Coleman.12/8/2022.
This is my third hire of Ricks Tile Pro for tile installation in my home. The first was to install floor tile in my living room hall way. He took his time and did an excellent job. For this project, I wanted 3 x 6 subway tile installed on the wall before putting in a vanity. Mr. Ricks went above and beyond my expectations. He installed the wall tile, floor tile, vanity, sinks, facets, mirrors, light fixture and connected the plumbing. My wife loves her updated bathroom. I recommend Ricks Tile Pro to anyone looking for tile installation.
Update as of 02/06/2022: Of the five contractors I currently rate as tile laborers, Randy Ricks is in the bottom percentile. Never rising above 10% in performance. His inability to follow simple instructions is unparalleled. If you show him what incorrect tile-laying looks like, he will emulate it but on an exaggerated scale. If you show him what correct tiling looks like, he paces back and forth in confusion unable to fathom the idea nor create the desired end state. He requires constant supervision but is still unable or unwilling to perform at even a DYI skill level. For these reasons, Randy has uncannily earned the rating of Below Center of Mass. He is the worst of the worst in tile laying. DO NOT RETAIN. Randy Ricks, previously doing business as Ricks Home Improvement, claims to have 25 years of experience in tiling. This is how his experience translated and he was paid $1500 in full via Zelle: 1. Cake batter looking mortar 2. Tiles not flushed to the wall 3. Mortar oozing from tiles 4. Mortar on bathtub 5. Wanted to use crown molding for baseboard 6. Created a leak in the tub area 7. Created a leak at the toilet 8. Tiles not leveled 9. Left cigarette butts and debris in the front yard 10. After 1 week he still had not completed the project. Another company tiled my guest bathroom in one day (shower & floor). Do not give him your business. If COVID-19 were a person in need of tile service, I would not recommend him to COVID.
Hired Ricks Home Improvement to tile my backsplash with a difficult and intricate tile. Randy was on time each day and was a pure joy to get to know. I really appreciated his work ethic and professionalism! He was patient with me asking questions and taught me additional tiling techniques. His work quality is superb!! I highly recommend Ricks Home Improvement for any tiling needs as well as any small hone improvement projects. You will not be disappointed.
Randy has a passion for his work. He did a great job on my tile over tile backsplash!! I appreciated his openess & honesty on how I could save money on this project. He is a diligent worker & I would highly recommend him.

Randy did an amazing job with my guest bathroom tile remodel. He answered any and all questions we had and even went to the store to gather supplies we missed. His work is phenomenal and we will be calling him for every project from now on .
Rick was awesome, very detailed oriented. I can truly say he’s one of the best contractors on thumbtack. I will definitely use again in the future. If you’re looking for a dependable contractor Rick is your guy.
