I have nothing but positive things to say about River Oaks Lawn Solutions. Edward responded to my message very quickly. He replaced my defective backflow valve, adjusted sprinkler heads, reset my timer, and gave me tips for my lawn. I'm very pleased!
I set up an appointment for an estimate with Edward about an hour or so after the schedule appointment time, I called because he was a no-show he told me he had already been out to my home and took measurements I explained to him I wish he would have bothered to ring the doorbell since I taken off the morning to meet with him this went on for several days with me texting and calling until he finally responded and agreed that he was going to put something together in writing and send it to me in a email which I never received it's been 2 months later I would strongly suggest that you do not waste your time here! 0 stars!

My husband and I wanted to remove and ornamental tree that was in the middle of our yard. When I reached out, I heard back almost immediately. I was given a very fair price actually better than I thought and they did a fabulous job overall. Very nice people!!!

Edward is terrific! Extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and provides a very wide scope of service. He’s amongst the best landscapers I’ve ever dealt with. I’d recommend him to anyone!
Excellent service
Would not recommend as owner uses bait and switch tactic to take advantage of customers. On thumbtack it clearly states he does not charge for a service call. Eddie (the owner) came out to assess our irrigation system, but didn’t bother to tell us that running the diagnostics would cost $135. He only informed us after we told him we were unsure about spending $800 on the work needed. He could have given us a heads up about the potential cost of running the diagnostics before coming to the house and I’m not sure why he didn’t let us know the cost prior to starting the diagnostics. This is clearly a bait and switch tactic to get money from us. He claimed that our lawn needed a more in depth diagnostic which isn’t free… but in hindsight it’s obvious that none of his service calls are free. I let him know that his post clearly says “free service call” and he still has not changed his listing. We were backed into a corner since we would be out $135 regardless and ended up using him to fix our irrigation. He told us he would come back in 2 weeks to make sure everything was working properly but still hasn’t returned to check on our lawn. Eddie never apologized for misleading us and claimed to give us 5% off our bill since I am a nurse, but he ended up charging us $60 in sales tax to make up for that. I posted our invoice on Reddit to get input from other pros working in irrigation and based on their input he is clearly ripping people off. The job he did should’ve been about $300, he charged us close to $900. Avoid him at all costs. (See photos)
