I wasn’t able to get them out for an estimate. I understand being busy, but that’s no excuse for lack of communication. I took most of an afternoon off of work so I could be there and never heard anything back. Then a few days later I was messaged and asked if I was available. I’m not going to beg someone or jump through hoops.

Affordable pricing and very responsive at first, but he kept rescheduling and pushing the job back. After four days of delays (on a task with a 48-hour due date), I ended up needing to hire someone else because he ghosted me.

This whole process with these guys has been extremely frustrating. So I posted this ad at the end of last month. I accepted the quote that this contracting group submitted because they came in very low. I typed up my ad with all the details of what the job was required and I even called the contractor and explained the details. This job is time sensitive because I need this room taken apart and put back together for a refinance. They originally pushed the job back because of the heat wave we had. I was okay with that. They finally sent someone out a week later and their guys were misinformed on what needed to be done. So they left and said they could come back the next day after me and the boss discussed some details about the project. I received one text back since then. They completely ghosted me and now I have to expedite this job through a different group to get this done by my due date (July 12). Completely unacceptable. This isn’t how you do business.
