Elizabeth did an absolutely beautiful grooming job on my cat Casey. He needed to be shaved due matting but he's now free of mats and looks adorable. I will most definitely contact Rockfield again for my other cat, Simba. Thank you very much. Anita

My cat was groomed there today. The front staff is great. The sanitary shave didn’t take long at all. However I wasn’t too happy with how the groomer handled my cat. When trying to get him back in the carrier my cat became scared possibly from hearing the blowers, loud music, or dogs barking (to be expected at a pet grooming facility). He tried to escape the carrier and I watched the groomer try to stop my cat by grabbing his tail so he wouldn’t jump down. Which lead to him yanking my cat off of the floor and holding my cat in the air by his tail to get him back on the grooming table & pulling my cat up by the tail multiple times even with me trying to intervene to get him to stop treating my cat that way. Only when I tried to intervene did a young man come with protective gloves to grab my cat the proper & safe way. I was feet away from my cat, at that point I would’ve grabbed him but the groomer kept grabbing him by the tail. I understand cats are “unpredictable” as the lady at the front desk said when apologizing however I feel like it could’ve been handled differently. From the start of my appointment I made them aware that he is a very anxious cat and gets scared easily, but he doesn’t show aggression when he’s scared. If the groomer was scared to handle my cat to get him back into the carrier, he could’ve called me over to assist. The services were decently priced and as I mentioned above the front office staff was great, but I will not be a returning customer. If they treated my cat like that within my eyesight, I can’t imagine how he would’ve been treated had I not been there.
Booked an appointment for specially mobile dog grooming. The company contacted and set up a time. When they had not arrived I tried to call several times but no one answered and there was no way to leave a voice message. I texted the company and was told they didn't have mobile only a van to pick up animals however this was not scheduled for me either. They didn't seem to care about the situation and that it created a problem as I had took time from work to be there. They may do a great job however I do not know. I will not be using them.
This groomer did fabulous job with BamBam. His coat is so silky, his daggers are trimmed, and his nether-regions are nicely shaved. I could tell he was well-taken care of. He wasn't nearly as traumatized as he could have been. I will definitely use Rockfield again.

Very happy with the service, very professional and understanding with my dog who is anxious.
Had the opportunity to visit this establishment. The chairs in the seating area are stained with pee smells. Making it smell horrible. They completed half the service and still charged the full price. The only time my dog has ever had an issue to this extent with grooming. So there must have been something off putting about the groomer. They are higher priced than other area groomers, and I haven’t see the justification.
My dog KJ left Rockfield Pet looking and smelling great. I highly recommend for you dogs
Rockford Pet was very responsive, followed up on my request, did a great job on both my Shelties (who can have tough coats). I would use them again without reservation. Not sure the pictures do it justice, but their coats feel so good!!!
It is very difficult to find a groomer that specializes in cats. They did an excellent job of grooming my two cats both of which had some serious matting. My cats were beautiful and calm when I returned to pick them up. I will definitely use Rockfield Pet again!
Thank you for giving Theo a makeover! He is a different man now. He smelled really good and was very clean. They even gave him an anti flea bath!
Gus was really responsive and professional. He listened to exactly what we wanted and made our pup look trim for the summer. The rate was upfront and transparent. She smelled so good and my dog was So happy when I picked her up. Will be returning!
Lulu looks FANTASTIC! She looks 1-2 years younger after the bathing and trimming that she received. We will be back!
