As a licensed Residential Building Contractor, I’m detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to doing things the right way. My business has evolved into work on a much larger scale with a wide verity of projects that I do. I aim to please and satisfy my customers and educate as well with my building code knowledge as well! I work solo, so you’ll always deal directly with me, and I respond quickly to questions and messages. Absolutely fantastic experience! Expertly hung some very difficult window treatments! Very happy with the experience and quality of work!
James did a great job on my 2 pre-hung door install + door trim job. I will surely recommend him out for anyone local needing handyman/contractor work and use him again if needed for anything else in the future!
James was amazing! He removed and installed two light fixtures from high ceilings and they look great. So happy to have his help with this project. Would use him again
Can’t recommend him highly enough. I tried to put these pictures up and couldn’t do it for the life of me, he had them up within the hour! He followed up and confirmed the time even when I was being unresponsive because I was locked out of the app. If you need help, this is your guy!
James was easy to book, prompt, communicated well and did great work quickly. Will definitely use his services again.
This was the second time I had hired James to hang a large picture. He did the job the same day and did excellent work. I will hire him again.
James was great. He had to deal with some unexpected things. He handled all with skill.I will call on him again if I need a handyman.
It went very well. He was pleasant and very efficient and did good work.
James was great to work with! I would hire him again for future projects. He helped install a closet organization system for us which included installing a backer and replacing the drywall. He was very responsive, punctual, and we were very happy with the finished product.
Replaced my kitchen faucet, bathroom faucet, sink, & bathroom mirror. He did an amazing job 10/10!
Took care of my project the very next day after I started looking for bids. Project was done well and he even took on a second smaller project once on-site. Already looking around for things I'd rather a pro do than do myself and hope to rehire!
After contacting several contractors and plumbers over several platforms, I found that James was the most responsive both before being hired and after. As opposed to quotes without seeing the job, James came to see the scope of the work (replacing a kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal) in order to give an accurate quote. James was willing to work with my schedule and within my timeframe so the job was scheduled for the next day. Once the job was started, he ran into a complication but was prepared to handle it in order to complete the job in the anticipated timeframe. If I need work done in the future I will definitely contact James to do the work.
Very satisfied with the Ruffin Handyman service. Job well done!
I really liked how he got my job done within a day or two of my request. Very knowledgeable and great work.
James helped install 5 curtain rods in our plaster walls. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I’d work with him again and highly recommend his services.
Great responsiveness and ability to understand the project and get it done in a timely fashion. Great job! I would recommend 100%!
James responded quickly to messages, arrived on time, and did a solid job.
James was efficient and did the job correctly. Highly recommended!
James came the next day to help us complete a project months delayed. The art piece was incredibly heavy and large. James took his time did it right and helped us so much. So grateful for James and will definitely be working with him in the future. Thank you!!
