I reached out asking for a quote and rates. Ruiz Landscaping continued to push for my address multiple times. I understand to get a final estimate they need to see the yard, but, to not have basic estimates is unprofessional. I’m not comfortable giving out my address unless I have agreed to services.

I search for landscapers after my large trees decided to dump while I was out of town and my husband and I were neither physically well enough to do the work. I quickly got a response from Ruiz landscaping and a quote for the job. We coordinated time for the work and arrived with very polite, friendly, hard-working crew and knocked it out of the park. The job was probably larger than I expected that I will definitely have their company back for any future needs and highly recommend them again.

My yard guy wasn’t responding to my messages and I had to have the yard mowed and some flower beds cleaned up since it was a mess. Ruiz was super quick in responding and was willing to take care of it the next day. My yard guy showed up and took care of everything in the yard, so I was wasn’t able to use his services. I am still appreciative of his responsiveness and professionalism.
Ruiz Landscaping missed our first scheduled appointment—no show, no call. After I sent a follow-up message the next day through the Thumbtack app, they finally showed up later that same day (March 19, 2025). Once the work was completed, it was done very well, and we agreed on a weekly rate for ongoing yard maintenance. We also discussed some needed irrigation repairs, and I was given a date when they would provide a quote and return to complete the work. Unfortunately, that never happened. Despite several follow-ups through the Thumbtack app, I was repeatedly told that a quote would be sent over, but I never received anything. Additionally, they have not returned to my property for the weekly maintenance we agreed on. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and follow-through. It’s now been three weeks of me trying to get a response, and I’ve finally given up. I have since scheduled another landscaping company to come out on Monday to provide a quote for both the yard maintenance and irrigation work.
