The people behind this company (or companies, as we found out) are very nice, family oriented guys. The issue is that the quality of the work, ability to stay on a schedule or follow the plan agreed upon was very poor. We spent a huge amount of time communicating with them, flagging issues proactively, and ultimately still ended up with a result that we will likely have to mostly repair and or completely redo. This was a huge expense for defective work that is falling apart now that they've left the jobsite. I want to like them as people, this job didn't have one thing that went right, though, and it's so frustrating and disappointing.

Reviews
Samcrete did a great job leveling and fixing my backyard, trimming outgrown roots and paving again. Highly recommend for quick quality fixes
I can't appreciate samcrete enough! They are very knowledgeable, and price is reasonable. My garage has had leaking, so I got several contractors to come look at it. None of them gave me an acceptable solution, until samcrete. They told me they could install a French drain inside of my garage, so I don't have to go to court to do it in my neighbor's property. Thank goodness. It has been working very well. No wet garage floor after heavy rain now. I can't thank them enough! Hire Paul if you want to do things right. You won't regret it.
They did a great job staining our backyard patio concrete - we’re very happy with the results!
They did a great job on a small brick pathway. They were easy to work with and ending up doing the job just as I wanted. I’d definitely use them again.
Extremely responsive, excellent work ethic, great experience. Would hire again.
I like Lavu Concrete because they are honest. They simply get the job done and deliver the results as promised. No shortcuts. No gimmicks.
Pau and the Lavu team were great to work with! They were very responsive throughout the estimate process and while work was completed. They provided a high quality product at a reasonable price providing great value. I would totally recommend Lavu and look forward to working with them again.
Lavu concrete did a great job replacing our foundation for a fence.
I hired Lavu Concrete to fill some small gaps in the brick wall that supports my front steps and to point (grind out and replace) deteriorated mortar on both sides and the top of the wall. It is a historic house and this wall has high visibility so getting it done right was extra-important. Lavu Concrete did a great job, getting the job done quickly and thoroughly while working around rainstorms. The photos show the finished result.
Excellent work from Lavu on upgrading the concrete in my garage for a home gym!
