If I could give him zero stars I would. He set a price and a time and didn't show up.

He had experience building the ikea closet system, so he was quick and even made a few adjustments that we wanted. Overall good job. Would recommend and hire again.
He was very polite, knowledgeable and efficient.
We hired Hancell for ceiling fan installation in multiple rooms. The project unexpectedly took the whole day as new wires and fixtures needed to be installed. Hancell was able to professionally handle electrical updates and patch any drywall damage afterward. He even offered to
I found SCI Layouts through Thumbtack, and I'm glad I did. Hired him to install a large closet system — solid work, fair price, no drama. He's coming back next week for additional projects. If you need a handyman, book him.
Hanchell was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always on time, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the project. What really stood out was his ability to come up with alternative solutions on the spot and his genuine focus on making sure I was happy with the final result. His pricing was very reasonable, and the craftsmanship is beautiful. It’s rare to find someone who is both skilled and so pleasant to work with. I’m thrilled to have found him and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and excellent customer service. Thank you, Hanchell, for bringing my vision to life!
I highly recommend SCI Layouts, LLC for any landscaping or property cleanup needs—small or large. Hancell, the owner, did an absolutely outstanding job on my property. From start to finish, he communicated throughout the entire process, kept me updated, and even sent pictures once the work was completed, which I truly appreciated. What really stood out to me was the level of personal customer service he provided. Unlike several other companies that simply sent me an automated link estimate system and expected me to figure everything out myself, Hancell actually called me, came out to the property in person, and walked the area with me. That made a huge difference because I did not need the entire property serviced—only specific sections. With the automated systems other companies used, there was really no good way to explain that or accurately assess the work needed. In a time where technology often replaces personal interaction, I truly appreciated that Hancell still believes in direct communication and taking the time to understand my needs as a customer face-to-face. That level of professionalism and customer care is becoming rare. He tackled an area of my property that had not been touched in years due to Dominion Energy work being done nearby. The area had become heavily overgrown with weeds, small trees, and even a large downed tree that had been lying there dry-rotting for quite some time. Hancell came in and completely transformed the space. The attention to detail, professionalism, and quality of work were beyond impressive. The project covered almost an acre, and the final result was beautiful. His pricing was very fair and competitive, especially considering the amount of labor and cleanup involved. It’s rare to find someone who combines strong work ethic, excellent communication, reliability, and true care for the work they do—but Hancell delivered on all of it. SCI Layouts, LLC is definitely an up-and-coming company to watch. If you need landscaping, brush clearing, property cleanup, or detailed outdoor work done right, I would not hesitate to recommend them. I definitely plan to use Hancell and SCI Layouts, LLC again for other landscaping and lawn service projects around my property in the future.
Great experience from start to finish. They arrived on time, were very professional, and took the time to provide helpful feedback on what would work best for our space while still allowing us to share our preferences. The installation was done efficiently and with great attention to detail. We were so pleased with the results that we’ve already booked them for another job. Highly recommend!
I cannot say enough great things about Anthony! He recently completed several assembly projects for me, and his work was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, Anthony was professional, efficient, and incredibly detail-oriented. Each piece—whether it was furniture, fixtures, or decor—was assembled perfectly and placed with care. What impressed me most was his positive attitude and ability to handle each task with precision and a calm, can-do demeanor. He showed up prepared, worked diligently, and left everything spotless when he finished. It was such a relief to have someone so capable and trustworthy take this off my plate! If you’re looking for someone reliable who delivers top-notch results, Anthony is your guy. I wholeheartedly recommend him for any assembly or handyman work—you won’t be disappointed!
