About Scott Davis - Adaptiv Roofing
Hi, I’m Scott, a project consultant with Adaptive Roofing & Construction. I specialize in helping homeowners navigate roof repairs and replacements, especially insurance claims without stress or confusion. From the first inspection to final install, my focus is simple: clear communication, honest recommendations, and quality workmanship. I take the time to explain your options, answer questions, and make sure you feel confident every step of the way. If you’re looking for someone reliable, responsive, and easy to work with, I’d be glad to help.

Scott was fine with communication. My complaint is with the owner and how they run their operations. After having a contract, it took them well over a month for a project that seemed to take less than two weeks (understanding that there are multiple job sites). Firstly, the first crew that went out there didn't have a truck. I had to let them borrow my ladder to start the job. The Project Manager's name is Juan and he kept saying his truck was in the shop. If he is at your house, tell them to pack up and leave. I'm not sure if they have an actual team because it looked like they just sub contracted this work to whoever they could find. The job was just to remove and replace the fascia and soffits across the whole house. Juan and his helper shows up at 11am and leaves at 2pm every day for that week. It took them almost a whole week just to have it removed and the trash was left all over the property. After a few days of having the attic exposed to the elements (live in Texas and it was over 100 degrees each day) I had to call to ask when they would start replacing what they had removed. Juan states that he is having Home Depot deliver the material to my house because his truck is still not working. Once the materials arrive, it takes another two weeks to have the fascia and soffits installed. But before they have it sealed and painted, I look over the work to see how it's going. THE. WORST. JOB. EVER. Hardie boards installed with cracks, nails and other fasteners installed that aren't even holding the board up, and some boards that are supposed to keep rodents out from under the roof not supported. And for the icing on the cake, Juan's helper runs out of material and takes a wooden piece of shelving and cuts it to size to finish the fascia. I call the office to communicate my issues and Martha answers (I believe is one of the owners). She asks for pictures and, after looking over them, she calls me back to tell me that it is unacceptable and to tell Juan and his helpers to leave the job site. The next day another group comes in and does a great job at replacing all the issues that were apparent. I am happy to see them as they actually have their own trucks and ladders and know how to complete the installation of the soffits and fascia. It's time for sealing and painting. How long does it take to paint? Another week! Guess who's back? Juan! He's there to spray the paint for the hardieboards and overlooks multiple areas that need caulking to seal up the attic from the outside. Does he seal it up after I ask him to? Nope! I try to call Martha, who ignores my phone calls now, and I reach out to Scott. Fast forward and the project is done. It's okay, not professional work, but it's done. If you have time on your hands and have no issue paying for subpar work, reach out to Adaptiv Roofing! Would I recommend this group to anyone? No. I'd tell them to save the headache and time wasted.
Scott helped me out over the phone with how to perform a DIY task which I originally thought I needed to hire someone, he was very helpful and professional, saved me a lot of money of hiring. I appreciated the honesty I got from him.
Great
Great experience working with Adaptiv Roofing. Great job coordinating between several moving parts on this job. Everything was done perfectly.
We had a leak that needed repair and Will did a great job. He responded quickly, was professional from start to finish, and explained everything clearly. In addition to fixing the leak, he upgraded our dryer vent to a more modern one and thoroughly cleaned it out. We are very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend.
If adaptability is required, it’s the customer who has to provide it—not the company. Communication was consistently poor. Simple questions required multiple messages, and even then the responses were incomplete. There was little to no follow-through, and appointments were rescheduled multiple times because the company failed to communicate with its own team. On one visit, the crew arrived with no clear understanding of the project and without the materials needed to complete it. Rather than begin any portion of the work or explain the situation, they simply left. On the next scheduled date, the exact same thing happened: no work was started, and I was asked to reschedule yet again. These were dates the company selected, not me. By that point, my confidence in the quality of the work had completely disappeared. If the planning, communication, and execution before the project even begins are this disorganized, it’s hard to believe the finished product would be any different. I ultimately decided to find another contractor.
I had a roof leak. He came quickly, offered a competitive price, did not upsell, did the repair the next day. Three weeks later, everything is holding up great. World hire again.
great experience. Honest and fixed the area same day. would definitely call for any future needs
They came out and fixed my roof leak in 2 days. Quick and easy.
