I had a great experience with Sean Malt Construction, and would highly recommend them for any kind of construction work. (This after many experiences with construction companies that either didn't solve problems or charged ridiculous amounts for simple repairs.) They helped me with the repair of a subfloor that was sinking due to dry rot, and did an exceptional job for a reasonable price. Sean came personally to assess the problems, thoroughly talked them through with me with different options, then sent me a detailed and reasonable estimate which he honored as the final cost. Communication by phone and e-mail was excellent, and he was very understanding with my issues with scheduling due to family issues. He even sent pictures of possible materials so I could picture what could be done and I didn't have to go to showrooms. As for the work, Joel did almost all of it, starting with ripping out all the rot, the existing vinyl flooring, and replacing beams and subfloor. As you can see, it really needed help, and we added a new toilet to the job. But it was the finish work I was so impressed with! Not only did he put in new flooring (which Sean helped me select), he perfectly cut brand new baseboards, and even painted them. Joel obviously takes pride in his work as a craftsman. In short, Sean and Joel provided me with not just a repair but an excellent start on a remodel, and I'm hoping to have them back to put in a walk-in shower and a new sink cabinet later this fall. Don't hesitate to call them for an estimate for any kind of construction project--they do much more than flooring!

Sean responded very quickly and professionally.
Gutters installed 9 months ago. Rain season here and drip edge of roof doesn't even reach the gutters. Water dripping between drip edge & gutter. The section in front that was replaced doesn't match the type on the rest of the home. Horrible work & much money wasted. Will need to redo.
Sean and his team are very thorough in their work and ask really good questions. They are very communicative, flexible, and extremely professional. Sean is always open to talking about ideas and I worked with them for quite a few upgrades and installation. I am extremely happy with their work and highly recommend them.
I had an exceptional experience working with Sean and his team. Sean possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise in his field. He presented a diverse range of project proposals and is receptive to modifications.
Horrible work we were lied to right in our face about the work done. Have pictures of before and after. Were lied about concrete work that was done. Have proof of faulty work. These contractors are going to get someone hurt very bad one day. They should stay out of the construction business. Wasted 8k with these losers. If you want quality work from a honest contractor that isn’t a liar skip these guys
