About Section Garage Door
I mostly do work for property service companies, contractors, and realtors. I personally do all the work for customers. I install all types of garage doors, from the older type one piece doors to the new sectional doors. I have over 20 years of experience in garage doors and openers, and it seems to change every 6 months to a year. I am always reading articles on new technology with openers, I do have my favorite types from liftmaster Chamberlin, marantec, Genie, and others. I am man of my word. That is growing my business based on positive word of mouth. I can continue to create curb appeal for your home and peace of mind knowing work is done to my customer satisfaction. Very happy with Ruben’s work. Looks really nice and was able to complete very quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Did a fantastic job and am very happy with the work, price and speed with which this was done!!
Ruben was a pleasure to work with. He took his time to explain everything to me, more than any other person who came out to give me an estimate. He scheduled my install date quickly and came prepared and ready to work. He and his partner went above and beyond with their customer service. Some shelves in my garage had to be taken down to get the job done and they went ahead and took them down for me free of charge. When he was done with the installation, he went over everything carefully with me, he even programmed my car switch for me. He gave me a fair price and was professional. I would definitely recommend him!
I am very impressed with the service and the quality of the work. Ruben is professional and responsive. We are very happy with the garage door. I would highly recommend.
Ruben was so workable when there were problems he solved them. You can tell he really likes what he is doing and knows the business. He was very professional and punctual in getting the job done thoroughly and efficiently. Anything I wanted done he did with minimal cost. I have the garage door I always dreamed of!
Ruben was fantastic. He spent time on the phone when he didn’t have to. A real gem !
Section Garage Door was not an instant match for me by Thumbtack...maybe because of our 20 mile distance? But i did my research by reading all the reviews also under the list of “other pros”. I came across a review that mentioned Ruben converted a tilt garage door to sectional. I messaged him and he quickly responded. When Ruben came I expressed to him my inclination to change my door to sectional. Problem is i have a low beam that creates a low headroom. My concern was an SuV might not fit if a sectional door would go under the beam. He took his time to show me and explain all the measurements that is needed and how it will be done. He said its doable but he also made sure that I understand what could be the negative outcome of having a low headroom. Ruben is honest and easy to talk to, there was no pressure in our conversation. He is very knowledgeable and confident at his work. And boy... he is accurate with the outcome. Price is very reasonable with labor, door and liftmaster motor with battery back up and wifi capability. I love the smooth function and quietness of the motor. Ruben and Corey did an excellent job on my project. I highly recommend them. Thanks Ruben and Corey of Section Garage Door!
Hired Ruben to fix the weather stripping and rubber bumper on the bottom of our garage door. They had dried and cracked from years of weather exposure, so water, mice, and insects were getting into the garage. He was thorough, responsive, and explained everything needed. Got the job done quickly and professionally. Almost makes you wish you had more garage doors for him to fix! Very happy, and highly recommend.
Ruben was extremely courteous and took the time to thoroughly explain what was going on with our garage door. He went over the repairs which we needed and recommended ways we can keep up the maintenance of our garage door. I highly recommend his services for repairs and if you’re looking for new garage door installation.
If you need a new garage door or work done on your garage door, look no further...Ruben is your man! With all the options available on thumbtack it was hard to make a choice but I’m very glad I chose Ruben.
I was looking to convert my manual garage to be automatic. Luckily, I found Ruben here. He is very professional, expert with garage door. He knows what he is doing. He came on time, and complete the job perfectly. Also, he fixes the broken item for me. I will recommend anyone to go and trust Ruben for anything related to garage doors. Thank you, Ruben!!
I can see why Ruben is Thumbtack's #1 Garage Door specialist. His experience is massive, his people skills are great and the cost of his services are very reasonable.
I had 2 previous bids on replacing my garage door that were $200 and $400 above Section’s bid, for the exact same door. The garage looks great! They were on time, super pro, would absolutely recommend them to anybody in search of a new garage door!!
Ruben was responsive, professional, and gave me very honest and up front analysis/pricing. I will certainly work with him again...
Great service, explained everything that went wrong and advised what my options was. Chose to have spring replaced and completely happy with results.
Great work, friendly and easy to talk to. Ruben explained every that needed to be done and I was relieved that the bill was very reasonable.
He did a wonderful job fixing our garage door. I highly recommond him
I hired Ruben to replace 2 garage doors and 2 garage openers on my rental property in West LA. He is a professional in every way. He showed up at the hours scheduled, installed both doors in about 7 hours, hauled the old doors away, and cleaned up. There was a minor issue after he installed the doors. He came back and made it good and also added some accessories that I did not order but needed. Ruben is a master in garage doors and I highly recommend him.
I replaced the entire garage door system from a Genie to a Lift Master WiFi system. The new system works great and I couldn't be happier with the service that Ruben and his assistant Corry per performed. They arrived early to access the problem and returned with the new system as promised. I went from having a serious problem with my garage system and in one day it was fixed. Service as good as it gets. A Big thumbs up for Section Garage Door!
