I can’t explain how much I loved my experience. I host so many parties and this was the first time I ever hired a bartender for a dinner party of 18. Carla was AMAZING! Truly truly amazing. Everyone kept saying how great of an idea it was, and how she was so attentive. She saw when someone needed a new drink and just took care of it on her own. This was such a relief as a host, I felt like I could actually enjoy my own party for once instead of making sure everyone had what they needed. We still talk about it, and Carla til this day. 100% worth every single penny. This is going to be my new party trick for sure. I also loved that I was able to provide my own bar set up, and she brought everything she needed to actually make the drinks. I can’t say enough good things!!!

The bartender was fantastic from start to finish. They helped make our event feel special with excellent service, great communication, and a friendly, professional attitude. The custom menu was thoughtfully prepared, easy to understand, and offered wonderful options for everyone. Everything was organized smoothly, and the drinks and service exceeded our expectations. We were even able to have the bartender stay over an extra hour. I highly recommend them for any event!

Melissa responded promptly and was so enthusiastic about our idea to have her bartend for 2 hours at a hotel suite for a bachelorette party. She quickly responded and stated what the cost all included: which was a printed menu, a shopping list, her own tools and bar. The menu she made was STUNNING. She made it go along with our theme. A week before our event she asked about parking which I loved how over prepared she was and booked a spothero. She also took a few calls with me to communicate the exact plan and logistics. Our suite was a small space but when she arrived she said it was perfect and was so easy to work with. Then during the event she made the cocktails and everyone loved them. She also went around asking if anyone needed a drink and then had drinks ready to go when we were running low. A true professional and fit right in to our party! Will definitely be using Melissa again for every party I host because I don’t think I could go back to making my own cocktails!
I had a fantastic experience with Shake it Up. Melissa was super responsive and able to provide a bartender, Carla, on short notice for my backyard party. Carla arrived early, brought a mobile bar, and was extremely friendly and helpful. My guests loved her drinks and demeanor. I could not have asked for better service and could not recommend Shake it Up more highly!

We booked Melissa for a 50-person holiday cookie swap. We batched our three signature drinks ahead of time, but she handled all garnishing, serving, tidying, and even created a drink menu for us to have on display. In addition to her warmth and professionalism, she was an excellent communicator on the details, logistics, etc. Would absolutely work with her again.
I highly recommend ShakeItUp! They bartended my birthday party and made super great drinks. Melissa was super responsive and helpful with the menu planning and Jennifer did a great job at the actual event. If I ever need a mobile bartender again I will definitely be going with ShakeItUp as they made everything so easy and the drinks were excellent!
