My fiance and I don't have dance experience and weren't confident in our abilities, but she guided us with patience and choreographed an amazing first dance that was perfect fit for our level and the song. Working with Shannon was truly one of the highlights of our wedding preparation. Over the course of a month, she was not only professional and fun to work with, but she also made what felt impossible completely achievable. My wife and I wanted to blend two very different styles — a traditional waltz and salsa — and Shannon pulled it off beautifully. What really stood out was the custom choreography she curated specifically for my wife, moves that were so stunning that everyone who watched was completely captivated. She has a gift for seeing what works for each person and bringing it out in the most elegant way. Coming in with zero prior dance experience, I was nervous, but Shannon's teaching style immediately put me at ease. She was patient, encouraging, and never made me feel singled out. Working with Shannon was fantastic before our wedding! We had no prior dance experience and we were able to do a 2 minute dance of moderate complexity to surprise our family and friends. She was very responsive and also gracious with her time, offering us extra time when the dance lesson needed to be rescheduled. A huge strength is that provides in-home lesson, a big benefit for the last few weeks/months of the wedding when every second counts. My wife and I love Shannon! Shannon is an absolute blast! She is incredibly communicative, non judgmental and always flexible with us for our schedules and different dances we want to try! My wife and I started so we could try a new hobby not knowing how long we’d be able to keep up, but it has easily become our favourite things to do weekly! We cannot speak any more highly of Shannon and how much she lets us be ourselves and emphasises enjoying what we are learning! We’ve even gifted lessons to our parents as a treat for us all to learn with Shannon together!

Shannon was an incredible dance instructor for my husband and I's wedding first dance! When we had our first lesson with her 5 months before our big day, we had no dance experience and a short list of songs we loved. Shannon taught us basic steps for each of our favorites so we could grasp how the final dance would feel, and was patient with us while we selected our song. We went with Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E... Over the course of 5 one-hour sessions, Shannon taught us a beautifully choreographed dance to the 2:30 min classic, with a mixture of swing and ballroom styles. As we got closer to our wedding we decided to book more sessions so that we could refine the dance, and even brought in my dad and my husband's mom so she could create easy-to-learn dances for our father of the bride and mother of the groom dances. In total, we must have booked Shannon 10 times. She provided high quality choreography and is an excellent instructor for beginners. She was patient, professional, and provided a fun, low pressure environment for my husband and I to learn. Our lessons with Shannon were THE MOST FUN part of wedding planning, by far.

Shannon helped craft a beautiful dance for my now wife and I as well as my mother and I. We really left things to the last minute, but Shannon ensured we were ready in 4 lessons for our two minute dance! She really went above and beyond to make out very tight schedule work so that we could get all our lessons in. She gave us a ton of confidence so we felt ready when we stepped out there. Super flexible with choreography and taking our suggestions, accommodating on time, professional and just a really sweet human being.
Wedding dance lessons. She was so patient with my dad and I. My dad is 73 years and he is not the best in understanding dance moves (even tho this was his Idea) 😂 3 lessons and he got it down all the way. Here us 2 pictures of us. 10/10 if I have any other events that need dance lessons I will forsure call Shannon.
Shannon is an incredible dance instructor. She enabled us to wow our audience on our wedding day! She is patient and led us through a number of steps which we are taking with us to any dance floor going forward. Shannon was a phenomenal find. I was planning my sister's bachelorette party, and left in a bind when our burlesque dance instructor cancelled on us last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my messages, and made us feel safe (in these pandemic times) by sending us a photo of her vaccination card (plus she wore a mask while teaching). She was patient with a group of 8 non-dancer women (plus one attending via Zoom), and taught us a full routine within two hours. She even filmed the final product for us, as a souvenir for our bride. We really enjoyed working with her, and my other sister (who's getting married in two months) is planning on hiring her to do a first dance class for her/her fiance. Thanks for everything, Shannon! It was meant to be that we found you. :-) We're so grateful!
