We had a great experience with Shay for our family photo shoot. She came to our home and took a combination of posed group shots, individual shots and candid play shots. The photos are beautiful and her easygoing demeanor made for a comfortable and fun shoot, even for our young kids who gave the experience two thumbs up. She was also very flexible when we needed to reschedule from our original date. We would definitely recommend and use her again in the future.

Shay was what I needed in a photographer and more. She didn’t just take pictures, she picked perfect time of day for lighting and even showed me how to do poses. She was early for our appointment and knew the best spots in town for photos. When you hire her she takes all the work off your shoulders. I highly recommend Shay! She made our special day even more perfect with her positive demeanor and professionalism. From the very beginning she was very thorough in explaining her process and kept in contact leading up to the event. She showed up on time to ensure everything was ready and throughout the time her attitude made us feel very comfortable and happy especially infront of the camera (husband and I being shy people) Additional, our pictures were delivered way ahead of the promised time frame and the results very simply beautiful. Just to be honest, Shay is by far the most wonderful photographer here on Thumbtack in Southern Florida -- she has such a natural talent, and her skill is so well done. My family felt so comfortable with her and that is evidence by our happiness in the photos. As a photographer during the shoot, she's such a kind, patient, comfortable person to be around with great humor and a lovable personality so none of us felt awkward at all with the photoshoot because she's so great. Look at how lovely these photos are! We have hundreds of amazing ones from her. I just booked a family session with her two weeks ago on Thumbtack as a stranger, took the photos from our home this week, and already have the photos back fully edited and in perfect resolution. (unusually fast!!) They are amazing -- but most importantly, she is amazing. Don't even wonder who the right choice is - just book with Shay, you will never regret it.
Shay was great from the moment we spoke, she was so helpful with the time table and making sure it was adequate for pictures without trying to get us to spend more on unnecessary time. The photos are fabulous, we are so glad we found her. She got details of everything and plenty of photos of us and the guests, besides making us look good!
