They broke my fan and denied it
Smart Moving caused fire during move then denied negligent actions. Unsafe. Untrustworthy. Unprofessional. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Movers caused fire during move by placing plastic bags of food on stove instead on counters, as directed. I was then treated horribly with unfounded accusations in their effort to avoid responsibility. Please review all pertinent communications for 7/22 (completed) and 8/3 projects (will not be going forward with later date). Now, I don’t feel safe in my new ohome as they have my personal info and know where in live. Unsafe. Unprofessional. Untrustworthy all the way around. Pictures were provided to Mike, boss for Smart Moving via Thumbtack but they are attached here again.
Would not recommend to larger clients. We utilize similar services in serval areas domestically and used this service for the NY area. I proactively discussed the billing requirements before they accepted the job. They damaged and splintered the customers decking, had to be reminded of the project details multiple times after failing to adhere to previous instruction, and made a scene in front of the customer before the unit was delivered after demanding to be paid at that moment, or he would not finish the delivery. This was long after being informing the Pro that a formal billing payment would need to be made. At no time was it discussed that there needed to be a payment before it was dropped off. I worked for 45 minutes to walk this company through how to accept a corporate payment through a business transaction. After the payment was made, the machine was delivered. The damage done to the customer was irreversible from this point. I would strongly advise those that are not local, cash paying clients to utilize a company that has a formal business identity.

Moving Smart provided a solid program to move me from one house to the other…Mo and Jimmy worked tirelessly non-stop working against the clock to provide easy delivery and value without so much as a hitch. Excellent job.
