He was very kind, efficient, and professional. I will definitely be working with him again. EDIT: A year later, I worked with him again. He was so helpful and quick and kind. He truly went above and beyond to make the move work even though he had to contend with challenging parking and an old building. I am so thankful-- he did so great and made the whole process really easy.
Patrick and Matteo were so nice, efficient, on time and did a great job packing my furniture and items into a POD. They were very careful with my things and worked very quickly. Patrick was super responsive and flexible. Would definitely recommend and hire again. Thank you!
We hired them to help us pick up and move a couch and they were able to bring it down 3 flights of stairs and up two flights of stairs. They were prepared with a van, dolly, and tools to take apart furniture if necessary. The only reason for a 4 star review is because they were a half hour late, but they were proactive in letting us know about the traffic ahead of time. They were friendly and easy to communicate with! Thank you!
Giving an extra star because the movers themselves were wonderful — but a word of caution about communication with this company. I was moving within the same apartment complex and received a quote that, when I asked via message, confirmed it included a truck. On moving day, the crew arrived without one. When I called, the person on the phone denied ever mentioning a truck and seemed to have simply not read my messages carefully. Rather than taking accountability, he dismissed it as a "misunderstanding" with no apology. As a result, my belongings had to be carried on foot across the entire complex. The movers handled it like champs, but the lack of professionalism and accountability from management was disappointing. Definitely wouldn't recommend considering how unorganized management was.
Huge thanks to the guys at Smile Moving Company for helping us move today. They were awesome to deal with, made a move from Fairfield Ca to Vallejo Ca. They worked hard the whole day. They handled all our heavy dresser carefully and were super courteous about bringing lots of moving blankets to not damage my floors or stairs in my home. Both of them were friendly, professional, and just got on with the job without any fuss. Couldn’t have asked for better guys to help with the move. Really appreciate the hard work today guys! Highly recommend them!!!!
Patrick and his team were great! Fast, clear and easy communication. They were able to get out at a time that was convenient for my schedule. They carefully lifted my new 450 pound steel smoker up a flight of stairs and through a narrow doorway. Very, very happy!
My experience with Patrick started out great, he responded same day and came to move two bed frames one from the second floor and the other from the third. He was a great speaker and salesperson and said that he could do all this work so I made plans with him to do some additional work such as painting, and the garage floor epoxy. When he was supposed to start the garage floor he was a few hours late arriving, but then he did kindly move all of our stuff into a trailer and keep that trailer somewhere overnight for us. Through the day he swept the garage and laid down the epoxy and then returned the next day to put on the clearcoat. He then moved everything back into the garage saying it was completed. He told us to let it drive for 24 hours and that’s all that was needed. The next evening I brought my car inside for 20 minutes while packing it up to go out of town because it was raining. When I moved it back out that night I saw that parts of the epoxy had peeled. We let Patrick know and he was supposed to come back and fix it, but it took him 2 1/2 weeks to come back. When he came back, he said that our car had leaked oil and that it a it was our fault. I explained to him that the car was not leaking oil because I always check the floor every time I pull out of the garage Patrick then attempted to fix the messed up areas and put an additional coat over the floor, but only the open spaces he did not move our cabinets. This time we did not put a car in the garage for two weeks, when we did we saw it the same thing happened. This time I had also rained, and we realized that the yellow stain was from rainwater. We let Patrick know and he told us that there was nothing he could do, but he promised that he would fix it again. Well after this he blocked both my husband and no longer responded to our phone calls. We paid him cash for the epoxy and although he did the work, it is not right, I regret doing it with him and I wish I would’ve just paid a real company to do it.
I had Patrick come and help me move a mattress out and he did that with ease and he also unboxed and put the new mattress in its place. He’s very friendly and excellent with his communication.
I was fortunate to have Patrick and his guys help me move a 160 gallon fish tank upstairs! They were super polite, professional, and careful. Instead of just winging the move Patrick ensured everyone knew what they were doing and mapped it out perfectly. The best movers in the Bay Area hands down! Thank you again!
