They were great!! Good communication from early on and touched base a few days ahead to confirm. That morning they let me know the guys names coming. They were quick and professional with the loading. They had to unload up to the third floor and did it with a smile. Once every thing was in the apartment it came to the dread furniture assembly. They hit it hard. Working through the boxes. Just a big thank you Tim and Lawrence for a job well done.
By not purposely taking extremely long to move items one by one so they can ultimately charge you $1000+ for a move that could have been completed in half the time. Rude, unprofessional, treated my valid concerns like a joke. Would not recommend, you’re better off hiring a few teenagers.
Erik was very communicative a week prior to the move asking questions to plan out the move. It was very helpful as he was able to cut the cost of the move after reviewing what was needed to make the move as efficient and cost effective as possible. His team arrived on time. The guys were courteous and worked for a solid 6 hours loading out from the old house and into the new one. I appreciate everything they did for us. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.
I used Smooth Moves and had an amazing experience. They were responsive, accommodating, and moved my items with care. I had a small window of time (POD and HOA rules), and they completed the move quickly and efficiently, followed instructions, and not a single item was broken or damaged. Highly recommended.
Smooth Moves really makes moving smooth. The movers came on time, handled our possessions with the utmost care, and made sure that all we had to do once they were done was enjoy our home. I hope this is our last move, but if it isn't, we'll be calling them for sure.
Erik and his team had a few mishaps the day before which lead to a later than expected start time for our move. While this initially concerned me, his team worked diligently to get the job done! They were able to move everything out of the home in one shot, when we had expected it to be two trips. There were no issues, nothing broken and my items were handled with great care! The guys really hustled to get me moved into my new place. Overall great service, clear communication throughout! I would highly recommend Smooth Moves for your moving needs.
Between the lies of the movers, the drinking on the job and damage to my walls and doors I would proceed with caution. (Empty beers cans left in my empty trash can). Also, movers wanted to get a second truck! There was just too many lies!! I was a generous customer that was taken advantage of. Gave waters and drinks, not to mention some nice prices of furniture to the lead mover that I was going to sell. They do pack well, move well, but the lying was too much. If you do use them, make sure you are cautious and are the home the entire time. I debated on writing this, but I don’t want it to happen to someone else. I had to pay my buyer for damages made to my walls. And it was not a small damage! Erik- I sent you an email explaining all this on your website and it bounced back. So I’m assuming it’s not valid any longer.
