I thank So Cal Climate and Ryan Foley tremendously for his service. My furnace was turning on but not heating. Ryan came by and fixed it within 15 min. What I appreciated most, though, was how we walked me through each step and provided me with a comprehensive overview of what exactly was going on and also walked me through a history of my unit. They came at the scheduled time. They contacted us several times before to confirm time and reassure us that a tech was coming. Even though they were unable to diagnose our problem due to our system being inaccessible, they gave us some good advice.
Very knowledgeable, but I can afford a total new installation that is far beyond my budget.
The only good thing about them is free estimate. The tech didn’t even provide a solution to fix my HVAC, and instead just presume my system too old and needs full replacement. I have to call him to follow up how the process went and he told me he sent a few options and he knew they’re crazily expensive. I checked the cost oh my god the cheapest option is already 10K, the two others are 15K and 20K. I went with another pro who charged me a couple hundreds only. It’s a fixable simple issue without the need to replace the entire AC, tubing, etc.
Couldn’t confirm the appointment until an hour before appointment and wouldn’t come out to assess or rrpair a newer unit
This company was a waste of My time. The quote came in so high, it was beyond disappointing… more like disrespectful. Almost a slap in the face. I feel bad for the poor people that dont know any better and fall for this crap. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that doest try to shaft people with rates 3x what they are with others. Waste of time and energy, live and learn. Hopefully this helps others
Very disappointed. Failed inspection x 3 different occasions. Supposed to take 3 days to finished, ended up 3 months to finally finished.
I don’t recommend them because, they gave me a quote for problems that didn’t exist. Explanation on premise was different. They gave me a quote to replace my ducts which was over 12000$, when there is no issues with the ducts and also never spoke about that when the technician came in for inspection. He was barely there for 10 minutes. On premise the recommendation was to tint the windows.
Dave was great! He was thorough with his explanations and able to successfully complete the tasks that were needed. I'll call him again when the time comes.
Technician came out was able to diagnose the problem and gave me the alternatives that best fit my needs.
Gave me an estimate $8000 higher than the next highest estimate. So I reviewed the estimate and see that they markup the equipment. Equipment cost was $5700 from manufacturer he charged me... get this $14,500 for the same equipment the other professionals charged me actual cost!! Stay away from these CROOKS. You've been warned.
Horrendous experience. I hired them despite their prices being double what other bids were ($781 to suspend a furnace; $130 per lb for coolant; etc.) because they promised to come on Monday to get the system fixed right away. They didn't show up until Thursday. They did not get the system working. The blower was installed improperly and would not shut off. They have been terrible to deal with. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!
We had an issue with noise with our mini split. This coming originally told us they do not provide repairs for mini splits but they were able to help us after all and we very much appreciated it. They were good at communicating and showing up when promised. Good folks
Scheduled to come out to diagnose my furnace. They sent me 3 emails/texts reminding me of the appointment. Day of the appointment, they are a no show. No calls, emails, or texts from them. Maybe they need reminder emails and texts to themselves! Thanks for wasting my time!
Arrived as promised and diagnosed the problems with my non-functioning furnace in less than 5 minutes. Performed the necessary cleaning and repairs immediately. Diagnosed that the thermostat was not functioning well and installed a new one immediately. I can’t praise them enough for the fine, professional job performed at a cost that was more than reasonable.
Everything about my experience was good except for their punctuality and responsiveness. They were 2 hours late and didn't give me any status updates. I had to contact customer service multiple times as I was just waiting for the installers to arrive. Wasted a lot of my time just sitting around. Once they started they were great. Professional and the work was great. They couldn't finish on the first day since they started so late. The work they did was good. Just wish they got their operations and communications improved. Otherwise I would recommend 4 stars.

After our furnace stopped working the team came out and tried very hard to fix it. It turned out replacement parts were not produced anymore (15+ yr old appliance). Since it's been almost a week with no heat when we found this out, SoCal Climate Control installed a new furnace the very next day and gave us an extended warranty for it free of charge. Would definitely recommend.
Responded quickly, Reese and Juan were just great. Took a little time to get the parts, but very please with the results
Socal Climate was quick to respond and booked an appointment for the following day (it was already late afternoon when I contacted them). I have a smart thermostat and my furnace was blowing cold air – David the technician quickly diagnosed the problem as the high limit switch being tripped due to a dirty air filter (my bad). They charged a very reasonable price and I am grateful for their service. Highly recommended company!
