Soham was a great tutor for my daughter for the ACT. He helped tremendously with both her work and her confidence level.

About SocratIQ
I received a 2390 (equivalent to 1580) on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT, and regularly stay up to date as the content and structure of both tests evolve. As a UC Berkeley grad (class of 2018), I can empathize with the struggles that students have with the SAT and ACT! I started my tutoring business in September 2014 and have tutored over 125 students who have experienced, on average, a 25% increase in test scores. I create unique, customizable lesson plans, because I believe no two students learn the same; the plans combine physical and online learning resources in an easy-to-digest manner. Most importantly, I care about my students and understand how to effectively communicate important concepts, along with offering strategies that are proven to work. I enjoy my students! I love to teach, as I believe knowledge is power. With the college landscape becoming more and more competitive, it is important for students to ace the SAT and ACT. I view tutoring as a game; how can I most efficiently communicate key concepts, while ensuring students retain the information? I enjoy meeting and interacting with new people, and seeing the "eureka" moment when a student masters a problem is priceless.

Thank you for accurate ACT guidance. It got my son started on the right track!!
Very professional and always on time. Helped my daughter raise her test score up 100 points. Would highly recommend.
Great experience .
Very professional as well as a flexible schedule.
I am very happy that my daughter got 110 score improvement in recent SAT, thanks largely to Soham's help. She had trial session from 3 others, but found him to be the most helpful after initial session. So we selected him to continue for about dozen more sessions . I am glad we chose him as it increased my daughter confidence quite a bit. He was also flexible to accommodate our last minute need of coming down for an unplanned session a day prior to test for helping out. Thanks a lot for that Soham. I truly feel any needy student can get lot of help from him.
Soham is a true professional. He and my son have really hit it off. It's too soon to write anymore, as he's just starting today!
My daughter likes and respects her tutor, stimulating her desire and commitment to learn as she prepares for the ACT. Soham is great!
Soham is great in engaging with my child. He is punctual and reliable and very knowledge about his subject matter. It has been amazing having him for a tutor.
I'm so glad to have found Soham as my daughter's tutor. He was exceptionally talented in analysing the gaps and providing what she needed to improvise. I like the way he tutors by asking questions that provokes critical thinking in students. It's been 3 classes so far and I already see her brimming with confidence towards her SAT's and AP exam's. I highly recommend him!!!
