I am a counselor and attorney at law. We can help you form a new business, raise capital for a new business, buy or sell a business, draft your operating agreement or shareholders' agreement, set up investment partnerships or joint venture agreements, license your intellectual property, assist you with commercial leases, whether as landlord or tenant, and secured lending, and represent you in federal or Georgia courts with respect to a contract dispute or business dispute. We also assist our regular clients with wills and other miscellaneous legal matters. Recently, we represented a plaintiff in a product liability action against a manufacturer of an artificial hip, a local software company in a patent infringement action, and a business seller in a dispute with the buyer. We also recently set up a joint venture between a US based service provider and an IT provider in India, negotiated a buyout with the estate of a decedent shareholder, advised with respect to a third round of financing for a technology company, advised a licensee of a patent owned by NASA, and customized a multi-year commercial lease and subordination agreement. We also prepared a codicil for a will for a client who contacted us through Thumbtack!
