Awesome and professional service. Sparkwise came through early morning Saturday to install install some garage outlets for me. One dedicated 20-amp circuit for my wall mounted power washer setup along with another 15-amp outlet for me to hang my tv. The installation was fast, clean, and I really appreciated the insight and knowledge they provided. Highly recommend sparkwise and his team!
Max communicates well and the booking process was smooth and punctual. Max does not come out for the jobs himself though and sends a contractor who are of varying skill levels which ended up costing additional time and money. I had an electric mirror, a pendant light, and a ceiling flush mount to be installed. The first guy installed the mirror and the flush mount but did not know how to do the pendant light. He advised it was complicated and needed at least 2 people and maybe 2 hours to do it. Max then suggested we find another company and refunded the initial quote of $75 for that fixture. At this point, I'm already out the service call fee and have a giant box of parts laying around taking up space. I wanted it done and figured I would have to pay another service call fee plus more time to research if engaging a new company. I asked Max to send second guy who actually installed the pendant in under an hour without needing my help at all. Unfortunately an additional visit cost me $300 which was agreed upon before the visit. Overall the workmanship is good and both contractors were punctual and professional but if you decide to use this Pro know that his contractors are not of the same skill level and the time and money incurred could be variable. I am fortunate to be financially flexible and understand I am supporting a small business however this may not be the case for everyone. If you decide to use this Pro I would discuss with Max what contingency there is for the varying service of his contractors.
Emerson did an amazing job installing my new Phillips hue recessed lights. It was a very clean installation and he gave great recommendations on where each light should be placed. I would be happy to hire them again for my next electrical project!
UPDATE: I upgraded by one star after he called to (aggressively) complain about my negative review. I upgraded because he correctly pointed out that he was not paid. However, that is because no payment terms were ever agreed upon and no actual work was ever performed. That is the core of the dispute: poor communication. He claimed afterward that he was performing online consulting work. I was providing details to scope a job in order to obtain an estimate or real-world work that needed to be done. I never agreed to pay for merely an estimate or for online virtual consulting about how I might try to do the work myself. That's why my original review said: "Listen better to what the customer is saying and be clear up front about what service you are able to provide and under what conditions."
Excellent service provided by Max Electric. The scope of the work was to install a sub panel and run conduit (Electrical Metallic Tube) to pass wire to install Tesla charger in the middle of the wall between two garage openers along with permit approval process. Max work, competence, work quality was excellent along with A++ service. Thank you for providing excellent service Max.
Max gave a very reasonable estimate and provided multiple options based on how much I intended to spend for my project. Very professional and skilled electrician. I would recommend for anyone looking to get any electric work done.
I contacted them about a tripped GFCI in my garage, and they replied back to unplug a few of the outlets because it was tripped. That was all it took to get my garage door working again! Thanks Mac Electric, will be calling you for any future repairs and recommendating you my neighbors.
