I moved from Pearland to Richmond on Saturday, October 24, and the experience with Speedway Moving was genuinely impressive. I asked them to arrive as early as possible, and they showed up right at 6:00 in the morning. By 9:00, I was already fully moved. Their work quality stood out because they handled everything with care and efficiency. They were extremely punctual, and their responsiveness made the whole process easy and stressâfree. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

While the move was completed, the team arrived over an hour late, came without the necessary tools, and took more than six hours to finish. Based on my experience, I wouldnât recommend them
10/10 recommend the 3 gentlemen that helped me. Im terrible with names but they arrived on time. They were friendly , professional and quick! I called literally a day before and they were able to get me moved into my new place in 4hours. Im a single mom and even had time to get the kids after school. Also affordable! Thanks guys!
Do not use this moving company. They were three hours late with no communication. They damaged our neighborsâ tree with the moving truck. They broke our 75â TV and leaned it against the wall so we couldnât see the damage until they were long gone. Their Zelle didnât work, and when we paid in cash they didnât have change. I reached out to the company about the TV and was strung along for two weeks saying that âmanagement would make a decision on how to proceedâ and then I was ghosted and never heard from them again.
The movers were extremely unproductive and unprofessional, they milked the clock and packaged up minor items i had already told them I didnt want, they stole food items and liquor . They also complained about being tired and complained the entire time and took extensive breaks to go purchase illegal smoke and drink beer and returned only to continue to complain and indulge in illegal substances and left my refrigerator in middle of my kitchen and lied to me and stated they would return the next day to place downstairs in garage and refused to return unless I paid them an additional $100 after I had tipped them $100 before they departed and agreed to return! Do not hire this company please a manager called me and I reported it the next day and he didnt do anything.
The good things about this company is they are friendly and responsive, but the negatives outweigh the positive. The movers arrived an hour late. I was quoted 4 hours and the job actually took 2+ more, costing me an additional $300 more than I had expected. The crew was polite and hardworking, but careless. The stair treads and walls were damaged during move out. A vintage dresser was chipped in two places. My beige sofas were not wrapped thoroughly, were then slid into the truck resulting in filthy upholstery that I had to spend hours cleaning. Same with an upholstered bead frame. A light colored rug was rolled over by the dolly resulting in tire marks that also had to be shampooed out. The management was only willing to give me a discount of $200 for the damaged items, so basically bringing the cost down to my original quote. Sadly, I would not ever recommend this company.
