About Square Root Custom Carpentry, Inc.
I believe it’s important of make every piece we make in our shop to the highest quality possible. Our goal is that the furniture or cabinets we make can either remain with the house for our customers and future families to enjoy, or as an heirloom for future generations. I take quality craftsmanship so serious that I personally make, or I’m involved in making every single piece that leaves our shop. I’m always up for a challenge and enjoy making something that no one has ever seen before or applying details to make something totally unique. We spend more time on the finishing details than most companies because it’s all about the details. My favorite part of the job is being with clients during the final walk thru or when we deliver their custom product. The response we get from our customers is confirmation that I’m doing exactly what I was born to do. We take alot of pride in our work and it shows on every job we complete. Thank you for reading our introduction, I hope to hear from you soon.

Very pleased with how our bookshelves came out. Fits right in with our existing shelving and the quality is outstanding. Ken has great attention to detail and it shows.
Ken built a custom shelf for our under the counter, drawer style microwave and added a small drawer at the bottom when we had some more additional space left. He was always very very punctual and responsive. He gave us an initial quote once we agreed on the scope and scheduled an install once the drawer he ordered came in. Overall, the process was very smooth and quick. I love how our new microwave cabinet turned out.
Ken from Square Root Carpentry worked very hard to complete a difficult project. He did not give up and ended up doing a great job! I would recommend Ken for any carpentry projects!
I needed a custom table versatile enough to be used a work station and converted to a dining table as needed, and easily stored so as not take up too much space. Ken quickly conceptualized what I needed, sourced quality products, consulted me on stainless steel, and produced an incredible piece of furniture. It is what I needed and more.
BEST CARPENTER IN THE WORLD!! I am absolutely thrilled that I found Ken & his team. Firstly, he is so prompt! Ken drove over right away to see the space first hand and talk about my ideas the day I contacted him for a quote. Did I mention he randomly tried fixing my broken hinge on my front door when he noticed it was cracked? He is an absolute sweetheart🥹. Secondly, he listened to my ideas but came up with even better ones. He is clearly a pro🙌🏼. From types of exotic woods, to finishing techniques to the best mounting options- I was absolutely blown away with his expertise. He took control of the project while keeping me up to date through the process. This custom built pot rack is honestly, hands down, my favorite thing in my entire home. It is literally a work of art itself, built with high quality solid wood and has transformed my kitchen. I’ve had about 10 friends and family members come see it, and everyone’s jaws hit the floor! I can’t recommend him enough and if you’re looking for a carpenter, don’t bother looking any further, square roots carpentry is 100% the best decision you can make. Thank you for everything Ken, so happy we found you! Can’t wait to come up with another project 😊
Ken and his team did an amazing job on our fireplace remodel! Very knowledgeable, wonderful quality of work, and great to work with. I would definitely hire them again!

Ken did a great job renovating a bar and a building a new post for the porch. His workmanship is beautiful because he takes a lot of pride in his work. I definitely recommend Ken and looking forward to work with him on future renovation projects.
Ken was fantastic to work with! He is very friendly, professional, and responsive. We gave him a basic idea of what we wanted for our built-ins, and he provided us with a lot of ideas that we would not have come up with on our own. The pieces are solid and absolutely beautiful! It feels like they were always meant to be there. We would definitely hire Ken for future projects and highly recommend him to anyone!
Ken was fantastic to work with. He created beautiful custom wood shelves to finish off our kitchen. He walked us through the whole process and was incredibly transparent and trustworthy. We loved the final product and are very happy. Additionally he provided us with many contacts to help with other elements of our kitchen and Reno’s which was incredibly helpful. Would highly recommend working with Ken.
