My Review of SR Plumbing I’m only writing this review because I was asked to do so. First, I want to acknowledge that the technician who came to my home was respectful and polite, and I appreciate his professionalism. I grew up around plumbing because my father was a plumber, so I have some familiarity with the trade. As a disabled veteran, I recognize my physical limitations and understand that I can no longer do certain jobs myself. I had two plumbing issues that needed attention. The first was a copper water line in my open basement that was pitting and beginning to leak. I was given what I considered a reasonable price for that repair. However, my experience changed when it came to a gas line leak in a closet. I was quoted nearly $2,000 to address this issue, and I strongly disagreed with that assessment. From what I could see, access to the line appeared manageable by moving the furnace drain line out of the way. I did not understand why the proposed solution would cost so much, particularly when I believed the issue might be addressed without replacing the entire line. I was so concerned about the estimate that I decided to get another plumber. The second plumber replaced the leaking water line, tightened the gas line, and reset the drain line—and did not charge me anything extra to tighten the gas line or reset the drain line. That experience reinforced my concern about SR Plumbing’s nearly $2,000 estimate. I understand that every plumbing situation is different, but the difference between what I was quoted and what another plumber was able to accomplish made me question the original assessment and the proposed cost. I am willing to pay a fair price for professional service, but I also believe customers deserve transparent pricing, reasonable recommendations, and a clear explanation of why a repair is necessary. As a disabled veteran living on a fixed income, I take these expenses seriously and expect to be treated fairly. I appreciate the SR Plumbing technician’s courtesy, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the assessment and the price I was quoted. Based on my experience, I would encourage customers to get a second opinion before agreeing to expensive plumbing repairs. Professionalism matters, but so do fair pricing, trust, and honest communication.
The plumber that came out to do the toilet install was very professional, informative and did an outstanding job. I don't remember his name, but the quality of work was superb. I believe I also spoke with the manager. He was very helpful and accommodating. I sent him a text at 12am, requesting an earlier schedule and he responded within minutes! Agree to do the job that same day! I will definitely use this company again!

Mike was efficient, fast, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He went above and beyond by taking care of a few additional items before leaving, which I really appreciated. On top of his workmanship, he had a great attitude and was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend asking for Mike specifically if you need plumbing work done right!

They identified the problem and came up with a unique boring solution. What was actually done was different then what was walked through and committed, resulting in a change order and price. Overall, we were satisfied.

I told you there is a small hole in the pvc coupling inside the meter. When you came out to check, you didnt even look inside the meter to see what is going on. You just quoted me the price and charged me the trip fee. The other plumber did a thorough inspection before quoting me his price. If you’re not going to inspect, you should just quote the price over the phone and not charge customers a trip fee .

Elijay was super responsive, on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed on same day. This was a water leaking from main line outside. Elijay worked hard, and fixed it. Will hire him again
