I have lived and worked in Germany so that I emphasize a lot of common-usage expressions and customs that may not be present in solely textbook-based instruction. Most of my work is in preparing people to move to Germany out of either professional or marital interests. I also work with many school students who are already enrolled in a German course to improve their performance in that course.

Steve is helping my high school daughter get caught up in her German III class. She had fallen behind due to getting stuck on a few assignments. He’s really getting her back on track. In 3 days they had 4 1-hour appointments and she is finishing assignments between lessons as well as with him. He’s teaching some tricks to help with difficult or tedious concepts. It’s clear he enjoys teaching and is good at motivating without pushing too hard. I am very happy we hired Steve!
