The communication was strong when she was selling herself, then it became clear she wasn’t following my project, got me confused with another, and then finished the quilt using the wrong material. When I pointed it out, she “fixed it” by finding ky fabric and sewing it poorly ON TOP OF the other one. This was incredibly disappointing- used all my daughter’s most precious memories, and created a low quality thing I could have done myself.

I had created a quilt top for our daughter. I deconstructed some of her formal dresses I made her when she was in high school, in piano recitals and beauty pageants. But I did not have the experience or the skills needed to actually finish the quilt. So I sent the quilt top to Ditches & Stitches. They turned the quilt top into a beautiful quilt! What a wonderful quilt Stitches and Ditches sewed for us. I sent a box of old tshirts, pjs and pants to be made into a quilt. What we got it return was magnificent! Patti was kind from the very beginning. My mom and brother both passed away last year so I wanted a special way to remember them by. Patti was very communicative throughout the process, asking me my thoughts and giving me ideas on what she thinks may work best.
