Would not recommend Hilda for packing services. She just haphazardly threw items into boxes, causing leaks and sanitary issues (she packed a an open dirty toilet brush with makeup!!) We had to repack her work, so it was a waste of time and money.
Hilda responded to my message in minutes saying she was available the same day. She unpacked my bedroom and helped organize my stuff into my closets (a task I felt very overwhelmed by). She can “see” where things need to go in order to maximize efficiency and utilize your space. Took 3 hours to unpack and organize my bedroom. Money very well spent.
Hilda was very good. She made very good progress for me packing my home.

I'm not sure how to be discreet about her problem. She told me that she couldn't work in my environment. But then this was after I told her that she needed to put her purse back in her car and not leave it in the living room with me. She told me that it was fine, and I told her it wasn't. Then she left.
After reaching out for help packing, she messaged me, then called (while I was at work in a meeting). After explaining this, she continued to try to proceed with a conversation. In my opinion this is very unprofessional. Lastly, her rate on Thumbtack states $45/hour, but she raised her rate to $50/hour during chat exchange. When asked why, she said she needs to change it. Unfortunately, this is also unprofessional in my book as well. I would like this professional to update her profile with accurate rate information. I would also encourage her to be mindful of communicating with potential clients.
Hilda packed what I struggled to pack for months in a few hours. So grateful.
This lady is awesome! She’s very friendly, super efficient, and I would definitely hire her again. Thinking about getting her to help me organize the house we just moved into. Highly recommend! She saved me a lot of work when I have been too busy with my elderly dad to do as much as I needed with our move. I love that she is totally self-directed, and made the same decisions, if not better, than I would in packing and arranging. Very very helpful! Can’t thank her enough!
Very efficient, punctual, and responsive! She did a great job packing all of our glassware, wrapped everything, had innovative approaches, required no oversight, and had a great attitude. Will definitely use her again if needed to pack or unpack, and highly recommend!
