About Studio 132
Work with a six-time Emmy winning producer! BZ Lewis offers a full range of professional recording and film post services, such as the following: * Recording singer-songwriters and bands of all genres * Podcast recording * Voice over * Audio noise-cleaning * Producing * Mastering * Sound design * Duplication services with our disc makers partner program * MP3 creation and maximizing * Music composition * I play Guitars of all kinds, Bass, and some keys. I can take your music to the next level by doing the work that most home studios nor most musicians can't complete. Recording: I can record a full six-piece live band, live drums, voice over, singer-songwriters with acoustic guitar and vocal, a small string section, and small jazz ensembles. Mixing and Producing: The next step is mixing, and with hundreds of available tracks, tons of plugins, outboard gear, coupled with massive amounts of midi control, there's no limit to what we can do. Working with a caring producer can make or break a recording. A good producer can pull a performance from an artist they never knew they had, work with an artist to create a song from just a few ideas, and arrange a song to make it more powerful. Have you maxed out your home recording system? Bring me the individual tracks, and I can make it sound like it was recorded with care! Are you trying to figure out why your song isn't quite working? Let me take your song to the next level using my decades of experience! Mastering: The final step of recording is mastering. Many artists who have recorded at other studios or even at home will bring their songs into Studio 132 for their final mastering check before releasing them online or going to a duplication house. I can make your recording sound as loud as anything commercially available, enhance the stereo field, feature certain instruments in the mix, and ensure the level and tonal balance is consistent from song to song. I can also create competitive-sounding MP3s for your online releases! Sound design: Sound design is an important aspect of any film, TV, video game, phone app, or presentation. Check out our credit list for platinum-selling game titles, TV, and films. Music composition BZ also specializes in original music composition. I have credits on all the major networks, scores of independent films, platinum-selling video game titles, regional and national ad campaigns, and documentary films.

I enjoyed my experience working with studio 13 to I will hire them again they help me very much. I would recommend them to anyone looking for audio pros
Had to record a voice, in very little time, and have it mixed and mastered with the backgroung song (Born54 - Dream with me, you can find it in Spotify). Working with BZ was wonderful, great little studio in a place removed from Oakland, very peaceful. His 6 emi awards lying around the studio added to the whole experience! Definitely recommend him!!!
I wanted to make an anniversary gift for my husband by singing our wedding song and found Studio 132. I was so nervous going but BZ made me feel so comfortable and got right down to business as soon as I walked in. He even helped me be creative and add something to it to make it original. The song turned out fantastic and my husband loves it!
5 stars aren't enough to describe the exciting atmosphere walking into Studio 132. BZ is the most down-to-earth, amazing human being who is very efficient and willing to bring your music to life. I've been working with Studio 132 for the past two years and couldn't have found a better home to record.
Our band sort of "cut our teeth" at Studio 132, recording 4 songs that we chose for our first studio recordings. BZ Lewis mic'd up the drums, bass, two guitars and two singers, and then went to work. The recordings were awesome. BZ managed to pair an amazing end product with a thoroughly enjoyable experience, He's easy to work with, has a great sense of humor, made us feel at home, and he was very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for their sound. Thank you, BZ. From all the gang at Highway 13.
