I’m Edmond, a photographer in Oakland, and I came to photography from 20 years of art direction and design, starting in advertising in Los Angeles and including print catalogs and award-winning web work. That background shapes every session. I direct you so you look natural, light each setup on purpose, and hand-edit and retouch every photo I deliver, so each one is finished and ready to share. I photograph portraits, headshots, couples, families, maternity, elopements and events across the Bay Area. Edmond was great from the start . From being extremely responsive and sharing his work and references to arriving at site well before time and giving the shoot a lot of time and patience . He spent a lot of time taking great pictures and the final result speaks for itself . He also shared many more images than initially promised . Edmond rocks! I used Thumbtack.com to find a photographer on an expedited timeline and Edmond responded within 8 hrs or less. I told him I simply wanted 1-2 headshots for my website and he said how soon do you need it. He gave me an honest and fair price for the job and even met me at my home! From there we went to my local park and walked around for about 45 minutes and he was able to get some really good shots. Edmond has a creative eye with background, lighting, posture, and everything else that involves taking a professional headshot. Edmond also put me at ease with his gentle ways as I don’t like taking pictures whatsoever. The photo shoot felt quite seamless and natural. I will absolutely hire Edmond next time around when I have a special event in my life hands down. Thank you so much Edmond.
