Food was great, staff and chef were very professional and was no time with food ready for even.
The macaroni was watery like it needed to be cooked more. The jambalaya's rice had no shrimp as advertised and the rice was hard and crunchy. Many guests said it was boxed Zatarain. The chicken looked good, but it was dry. If you can't cook, this food may fool you. I am disappointed in myself from choosing this company.
Absolutely amazing! And to top it off they are so nice and responsive! We look forward to having them bless us again with their flava!!!!

This was my first time hosting a family event, so I came in with a mix of excitement and “I hope I don’t forget anything.” From the very beginning, Allison made sure that wasn’t going to happen. She was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and truly knowledgeable about catering needs. She didn’t just take an order—she asked thoughtful questions, helped me think through the flow of the event, and even offered helpful tips I’ll definitely be using for future gatherings. When it came to execution, Frankie and Kenneth showed up right on time and ready to work. They handled the drop-off and setup with professionalism and care, making sure everything was arranged beautifully and functioning exactly as it should before they left. That kind of attention to detail gave me the confidence to focus on my guests instead of worrying about logistics. And then… the food. Chef Woah absolutely delivered. Every dish was flavorful, memorable, and carried a signature twist that clearly reflects his New Orleans roots. You could taste the intention in every bite. On top of that, he was incredibly accommodating with a few last-minute updates, which made a huge difference in pulling everything together seamlessly. What stood out most about Sudden Flavas was how invested they were in making sure my event went smoothly. Chef Woah and his team were great! They were responsive with any questions we had via phone or ThumbTack. They were also very accommodating for any of our needs. My company is Japanese owned, so BBQ was a first for many of them. All of us enjoyed their food and service. Would definintely recommend and we will be using their business in the future.
Sudden flavas catered our wedding and the food was fantastic. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal. They sincerely went above and beyond our expectations. They prepared a lot of the food on site with their own grill that wasn't in the way at all. We had more than enough food and plenty of leftovers for guests to take plates home. I would not only recommend but encourage anyone else to book sudden flavas for any event.
Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sudden Flavas to our after-school program for a BBQ. I have honestly never seen so many of our kids, especially the teenagers, so excited to participate in a food truck. The food was not only delicious but also affordable, which made it accessible for everyone. I also loved hearing the chef’s story about their journey from where they started to where they are now.
