Very honest and professional!
Tech came out to replace dryer belt, the machine was still working just and ping in just not tumbling. He told me it was $400 for labor and part. I thought that was high based on research but said ok and then after he replaced the belt he came down and told me that the timer switch was not broken and the machine wouldn’t turn on at all. He then wanted to charge me $518 to fix everything. I said no bc I I could get a new dryer for that. They did refund me my $50 visit fee since they could not fix the dryer.
We were very impressed by the professionalism of Sam. He contacted us in a timely manner via the Thumbtack site. After corresponding with him about his expertise, we decided to go with Summit over two other companies that we had contacted via Thumbtack. He came out and was able to fix the microwave that is part of our microwave/oven combo wall unit. He properly assessed, diagnosed, and resolved the issue. We would definitely use Summit Appliance Repair again should we encounter any issues.
