I’ve spent many years developing methods to teach water safety to people on the autism spectrum and children with disabilities, learning from respected program leaders around the world. I look at abilities first and build skills step by step, celebrating every bit of progress. Safety is always the top priority: our team members carry liability insurance, hold CPR training, and complete seasonal audits. Survival skills and custom swimming tasks are practiced each session and displayed clearly on a waterproof iPad on deck. Besides being very professional, punctual and responsive to our queries, Julie is a gifted teacher. Her package deal for three beginner adult swimmers was very reasonable , and included oodles of caring patience, insight into individual swimmer needs, and fun pace.

I began first lesson fearful of the water because I had not been swimming for 40 years. Three days later, I was enjoying the water and swimming backstroke and freestyle. Endurance and technique need a lot of work but I have made great progress in a short time. Pro began by helping me feel comfortable in the water. I'm looking forward to becoming a confident swimmer.
Julie was extremely punctual and professional when setting up our lessons. In the pool she shows great patience and knowledge for getting our little ones swimming.
My 7 yr old already knew how to float. He learned more in 10 minutes w/ Julie than a whole month at a local swim school w/ 3 other kids in his class. If you could only take 1 swim class in your life, this would be it. He enjoyed being in the water. He treaded water in the deep end and swam independently with proper form (new skills acquired). Julie continuously checked in with us during the lesson to see if our concerns were addressed and expectations met. She exceeded them and reaffirmed that we made the best decision (we even decided to skip out on his last swim class at his old school cuz we didn't want to waste our time).
Julie is awesome,Very detail oriented and put a good effort to make you feel comfortable in water.She is not teaching u how to just swim but also how to make water your second home.I am going to take my little one to Julie as well.
Julie is very patient with my children, and they can be a handful at 4 and 6. My son has high anxiety so her patience has been very helpful trying to get him acclimated to the water.
After so many lessons with other instructors, I’m pleased to have found Julie. She is so detailed in her techniques, something I have never encountered before. She’s kind, patient and truly wants me to succeed and for that I’m thankful! Super excited to see how much I improve in the weeks to come. Highly recommend!
