I wish I paid attention to the 1 star review because he has my money and he's no longer responding. I was very understanding because I know life happens but business is business. I sent money for materials. I was the one initiating contact to get an update on rescheduling due to weather, his life circumstances, etc. He's now no longer responding. I'm waiting to hear back from Thumbtack but I'm highly disappointed because I came to this site hoping to give a starting business a chance. As a business, stand with your commitment or send the money back. If the job was too much just be honest and stay in contact. I shouldn't have had to reach out continuously.

Reviews
Matias and his team - Sergio and Katherine did a great job on a challenging project. We had a sunroom rebuild with significant rotting and hidden termite damage. They went above and beyond to complete the job to our satisfaction and were very pleasant to work with. We enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to working with them again soon. Aurifex gets our highest recommendation!
Matt asked for the money for material and he never came back. I got Thumbnail involved and they reimbursed my money. Thumb-tact should not allow this company to advertised on Thumbtact
Can not say enough great things about Matias and The Aurifex Llc I genuinely feel that the stars aligned when I submitted the thumbtack request for this custom build desk and bookcase for my upstairs landing Matias is not a fly by night carpenter who is merely practicing his skills… he is a true professional with a life long career in creating high end custom pieces. Matias became like family while he was working on this project for us. We made tweaks along the way and he was more than willing to accommodate and beyond capable of creating everything we asked for. We have already requested that Matias get us back on his calendar for our next project. Will highly recommend to you as well as to all our friends and family.. Thank you Matias

I was in desperate need for last minute build out and I was able to get everything I needed within 48 hours of making the initial contact. The work was beautiful and Mathias was awesome to work with. He had such a beautiful spirit. His pricing was affordable and he walked me through every step of the process. We will definitely be using him again.
