Reviews
Stefan is an excellent worker and does what he says he will do. I will definitely use him again in the future.
we found the work well done, completed in a timely manner. he was easy to communicate with and extremely personable. He was comfortable to have in our home. The job was small but he took his time making sure it was done perfectly. we have some other projects and would certainly consider him again and would happily recommend him to others.
Tom & Linda Sigmon My husband and I are extremely satisfied with the service we received from The Handy Swede. The quality of his work on our ceilings and wallpaper repairs was outstanding. We have already arranged for him to return next month to repair three decks and a walkway. Honestly, we have never had a better experience with any service provider we have worked with. We definitely give him 5 stars!
Excellent guy to work with. Very professional and went above and beyond to make sure his work fit and looked perfect.
He built a stable porch for me. The old porch had served me well, but needed to be replaced. He replaced rotten joists and laid a new floor. The painted photos are before and new is the deck boards. He explained the best options and the cost. And he also addressed my concerns of the posts and the support of the porch roof. He even did a minor extra touch. I do have some older boards to sand and stain. Then in a few months, the new boards have to be stained
We enjoyed working with Stefan on the installation of an upper and lower kitchen cabinet and granite countertop for our coffee bar. He also installed crown molding around the upper cabinet and reinstalled baseboard on either side of the base cabinet. Stefan was very personable and easy to work with as I tried to help where I could be an extra set of hands.
Showed up whe he said he would. Did a good job and clean up was great. Would and probably will hire again. Even looked at another job to put an estimate together for me while he was here
Absolutely awesome final product! We had our entire older deck demolished and rebuilt from the ground up and couldn’t be more pleased. Stefan is a master in his craft and we’d can only offer praise for his work. We’d defiantly recommend to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again for any future projects. You can’t go wrong with the Handy Swede!
Stephen has been amazing to work with, and it is definitely going to be our go-to for project assistance in the future. Our currwnt project isn't finished, but that is our delay, not his. He has been more than accommodating to our timelines. Our new shower looks amazing and functions perfectly.
Been looking for a home since October of 2022. Finally found one. Contacted 17 licensed contractors and of the few that called back none couldn’t ( or wouldn’t) do the repairs for Due Diligence. Even talked to repairmen while stuck in traffic to no avail. Loan processor relented and I contacted four handymen on Thumbtack and Stephan came through. Repairs look great and he even completed the repairs ahead of schedule. Looking forward to hiring Stephan again in the not too distant future. Thank you Stephan!
I can wholeheartedly endorse Stephen, the quality of his work, and his ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner. He was detail oriented, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and kept me informed throughout the entire project. He installed 3 ceiling fans, 3 pendant lights, and replaced an old preexisting t-stat with a new smart t-stat. Stephen arrived as a handyman and left as a friend. As a result of his professionalism I have tasked him with 3 more projects after the new year. Rest assured, he’s the guy to get things done.
