About The J. Sofge Vocal Studio
Now offering 20% off your first lesson! Discount code is on my website. With over 20 years of experience as a professional actor and singer, I bring real-world performance experience together with a strong foundation in classical vocal technique. I work with singers of all levels on healthy, sustainable technique, musical theatre, classical repertoire, audition preparation, acting through song, and building confidence in their individual voice. My professional credits include the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Staatsoper Berlin, Opéra National de Paris, and a Broadway First National Tour. I also teach Classical Voice at Drew University. Lessons are individualized to each singer—whether you’re a beginner discovering your voice, a student preparing for auditions, or a working performer looking to strengthen your technique. In-person voice lessons are available in Midtown Manhattan, with virtual lessons also available.
