This company was very unprofessional. I think that they are using the storms to capitalize and price gouge the consumer. We have about 20 feet of soffits that came out. We were asking that they be replaced. Freddy came out after about a week we received a quote. Once we receive the quote, the markup on it was almost 300%, meaning 3 to 4 times the amount that he would cost to do something like this. His explanation was that they have to do a two-story and the roofer goes high up off the ground and needs liability insurance to protect the work. I am not the cause of you having a higher liability premium just to do this one job. It’s in the scope of the job to have liability insurance regardless, which doesn’t mean that the amount would cost $1800 to replace. That’s roughly $100 per panel including labor, this is not consistent with common sense. Total cost $1,817.99 for Soffits. I checked the price of soffits, they cost to replace a whole house like mine in Florida $2300-$4,000 the whole house. This is a simple repair. As a consumer, if you stop paying these outrageous prices, the price will come down.

After Hurricane Milton, The Roof Factory staff responded to my request for help the next day.
