I had a great experience with Stumble Stone! They got my project done in a week. I love the counter tops and they were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend!!

Very nice person but you should know that he is a contractor and sends out a separate team to install. He is not on site through out the install or at least not on ours. I think because he had a bigger install elsewhere. He did show up toward the end and fixed some things my husband noticed. The guys on this team were very polite and nice. The gaps along the very edges at the back of the granite were up to 1/4 inch and so not very tigh. So, I will need to use extra thin-set in places to account for that. The main thing you should know is to make sure you get a slab where you like the entire slab and not just half of it, because iin my case it ended up that the side I didn’t want installed was the side that got installed due to the material not being big enough to cut where I wanted it cut, and he said he could not use the part of the slab that I intended to be installed and told me if he did that he would not have enough material left to do the rest of it and get good seams. Wish I had known that before I bought the slab. So that means that the part of the granite with ugly splotches and ground black pepper appearance etc was what we got. So I don’t like the way it looks, but at least the seams are very good. These installers I have been using as of late seem to have a different sensibility as to what an appropriate aesthetic should be and also there may be something lost in communication as well. If I had to do it over, I would just get laminate. Also, make sure and tell the installers what side you want the sink drain on, because if you forget, they will put it in on whatever side. We have a single drain sink for the first time and it was placed on the right. All the plumbing is on the left. Hopefully the plumber can make it work. Last tip. Pick a stone that is easy to work with. We chose fantasy brown and that was our mistake. It’s not granite, it’s marble and so more prone to etching and staining, and it’s very difficult to get seams to match due to the heavy movement. Ramons guys did match the seam perfectly, unlike our last installer. I would use Ramon again perhaps if I had known more about what I was doing. If you are a novice and don’t know much about what the best type of stone to pick out, I would go to a big box place or use a GC and let them hire their granite people. If you have a lot of knowledge and know the various pitfalls that can occur up front, I would say use Ramon. Things I would do differently in a nutshell. 1. Choose a different granite with less movement for ease of marching seams and less prone to staining/ etching. 2. Choose a slab where you like the entire thing. If there are imperfections, better find out where the cuts will need to be made before purchasing. 3. Make sure you specify where the seams will be and either go to their shop or see high resolution pictures before singing off. 4. Make sure you tell them what side your sink drain should be on if it’s a single drain type.
So easy to work with and professional. Other than my house being messy and stinky for a few days it wasn’t a bad experience at all!
It is becoming rare to find good contractors now a days. Ramon at The Stumble Stond is pleasure to work with. Described the job in detail before hand, signed a detailed contract. No surprise money demand in middle of project and finished the job to my full satisfaction. Already thinking about next project with him. Definitely recommend him.
From the beginning, I really appreciated Ramon’s responsiveness. He made the process painless and I’m really pleased with the workmanship. Our new quartz countertops are beautiful. Would definitely use The Stumble Stone again.
The countertops look great and they were very responsive. I would definitely recommend them over anyone else.
I cannot say enough positive remarks Ramon and his crew. I found TSS here on thumbtack on a Tuesday and my white quartz waterfall island and counters were installed Friday. I would 100% recommend this company. Their pricing is fair and workmanship is incredible.
If you’re looking to install new countertops. You must call Ramon with The Stumble Stone. From our first interaction I knew that I wanted to work with him. He was very attentive to what i was looking for and made great suggestions. The warehouses that he sent me too, had exactly what I was looking for. For the install Lisandro and his team were awesome. I was concerned about having multiple seams in the countertops… but I only have one. The install went very smoothly even in below freezing temperatures and everything was cleaned once complete. I will be reaching out to Ramon and Lisandro when I’m ready to complete my outdoor kitchen.
Please call The Stumble Stone. The Stumble Stone team was a professional hands on experience from quote, to warehouse tour, to meeting and working with the technicians. Ramon always provided great suggestions, with pics, that transformed our kitchen. Ruben, the lead tech & his team took pride in their work and they were thorough, punctual, and professional. They explained every detail and involved us in the process.
I’m happy with the service that was received. The renovation was done in my absence and turned out right
