Daren is amazing. He's produced in days what others couldn't - or wouldn't - in months. This particular project is a big one too, and Daren handled it as cool as the coastal breeze. He's a likable chap as well, and we're excited to work with him again.
Daren really was great, he worked with me, being attentive with what I envisioned. He followed through with what he said he would do and gave me a visual of what I imagined in my head- thank you Daren and Tippling!
Updating my review as the project is still ongoing and under evaluation
Phone call conversation didn’t match what was stated through text. I asked for the board to be made not ordered. On the phone it was stated something about his warehouse which I understand but just placed an order in fathead…If I would’ve known before starting the project that they were just placing an order from an accredited site, I wouldn’t follow through cause of course it’s the holidays(thanksgiving) and shipping wouldn’t be timely. I also understand this was a rush project. Given on Monday and needed on Thursday latest Friday yet, so that is me. Also, I had to continuously ask for the shipping number once I found out he just placed an order. I didn’t say anything to the merchant at the time due to me trying my best to be reasonable but the only thing I’d say is TEXT/better communication. Maybe this was all a bad case of miscommunication but nonetheless, they/he did their job I guess to what they felt like they could do but art is art not print and placing an order. I never got my shipment either.
Seamless project, awesome output at the end. Happy customer
Love the response time very reasonable and helpful in making my concepts come to life
Daren is a delight and has great energy. I’m happy to know he is out there and in my corner. Excellent vibes!!!
Working with Daren was painless. He created each image just as I hoped for. The work is outstanding. I will definitely use him again in any future art work. I highly recommend Tipping Toast Media LLC.
Contracted with Daren on this platform and set up a meeting in zoom for the project. He notified me it would be recorded. We discussed design images for the BACK of two seats to be wrapped in vinyl. The initial call went well. I agreed to a $200 deposit. That initial call went well. From there communication began to deteriorate. Principally from the first set of initial design concepts. He sends me designs of the “FRONT” of the seats. Once I address this, that we never even talked about the front seats, he willingly acknowledges his mistake and set to work on the backs. However, the first 3 designs are no where near what was discussed and agreed upon. Once I bring that to his attention, he then proceeds to respond that he will need more compensation for the project cause that’s more work than discussed. I said over the phone our conversation was recorded! And he hangs up on me. Sites I’m being caustic and yelling. Well, certainly I am upset. You sent me work I did not request, than when I describe the work we already discussed you need more money. So I decided to look for another designer and request a refund. He claims that he’s done 50% of the project, which is not the case. The work he did do was in the front of the seats I did not request, the work in the back design is no where near what he agreed he could perform. I’m sure there are projects he’s well capable of doing, but future customers may want to record thier conversations with Daren. He shows signs of dishonesty here. He’s even went so far as to delete some of his conversations in text and on Adana.
Daren was easy and great to work with. He responded to my request within 20 minutes and we were able to discuss our needs of service.
I am deeply disappointed with my experience hiring Daren from Tipping Toast to create a memorial video for my beloved dog, Isabella. I initially contracted him to produce a 3-minute video, with the style and content to be determined by my clear instructions. Unfortunately, he completely disregarded the guidelines I provided and failed to meet our contractual agreement. Instead of the heartfelt memorial I was hoping for, after one revision, I was left with a 25-minute slideshow that ignored every detail I requested. None of the audio files I painstakingly selected, converted to .mp4, and provided were included. This is not the meaningful tribute I paid for and had hoped to cherish for years to come. While I acknowledge that I signed a no-refund agreement, Daren’s failure to deliver on the contractual terms renders that clause irrelevant—why should I be held to an agreement he has clearly violated? Despite this, he refused to issue a refund of the $350 I paid. I am left with a video I will likely never watch, feeling disappointed, disrespected, and taken advantage of during an incredibly emotional time. I would not recommend Tipping Toast or Daren’s services to anyone seeking a professional, compassionate, or reliable video editing service. I have many more conversations I could present but here I’ve attached the final product he’s left me with (showing it is a 25 minute “video” but really, slideshow), the contract we agreed to, and the very clear instructions I provided to him that included attachments of sample videos to replicate and attached audio files.
Maybe he is good at website design, but from our long in-depth calls (call plural), I can only guess he is subbing out any design work for logos. Wow, what a waste of time and money.
Working with Daren and his team was great! Daren was responsive and did exactly as we asked and in a timely manor. We look forward to working with him again soon.
Darren exceeded all my expectations! His professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding, and the animation he created perfectly captured my vision. I wholeheartedly recommend Darren to anyone seeking top-notch video animation services that combine exceptional quality with great value. He made an animation of my logo bursting into flames. Thanks so much Tipping Toast!
