Tyson is not a trade, he is an excellent craftsman and he knows decks well. Even though I have a small deck, he never cut corners. I got the same treatment as someone with a six figure deck. The attention to detail was flawless. I also really appreciated how he was in-tune with the weather and ensured the stain had time to cure. Tyson intentionally delayed the final step in his process because of the forecast. Fortunately, the curing time was just enough before monsoon rain and hail pelted the deck. I am really pleased with the outcome. The cost was well worth it.

Ty was very transparent through the whole process of refinishing our deck. He was clear about costs from the beginning, helped us identify higher and lower priority fixes, and was thoughtful about the timing of the project given we had some weather difficulties. The finished product looks phenomenal and we spend so much more time on our deck now than before. Big thanks to Ty and his assistant for their diligent work!

Didn’t proceed with them for our current project but everything through the estimate and quote to address our concerns was handled well

Rick W.Jul 2025

Price quoted is much more reasonable than other quotes I got. So far we have not met, but weather permitting he will start next week.

Tyson was easy to work with. He provided a very clear upfront quote, scheduled quickly, and finished the job in the expected timeframe. The results were great!

Tyson was wonderful to work with. He was thorough with his bid and adjusted when we had alternate requests. He communicated when we had to cancel due to weather and showed up when he said he would. Work quality was excellent and he left the worksite clean. We had our redwood entry stairs rebuilt by Tyson because they were rotted through. I’ll be hiring Tyson for other jobs in the future!

Left me hanging when we had an appointment. Then went silent.

I want to replace some of my deck boards as those got rotten due to water damage. Tyson was very good and was able to get the job done. It took longer than expected but overall the work was perfect and well done.

We had a great experience working with Tyson. Our deck was warped, uneven, and badly faded after a couple of rough winters. Tyson and his team have it now looking brand new again, and gave us pointers on how to maintain it. Tyson was punctual and communicative throughout.

When I needed a deck replacement, I sifted through several quotes from various builders. I made the right choice when I went with Tyson. Tyson was a real pleasure to work with. He gave a fair quote. A fair price. The quality and workmanship was outstanding. He kept to the original quote. Was very responsive and never once was I left feeling apprehensive or unsure of the outcome. The deck is solid, well built and truly beautiful. Thanks again for this beautiful deck.
