Aleksei is not transparent and does not communicate well. There were multiple times where I asked him a specific question and he either ensured me that it would be done, or he would ignore it entirely. We had multiple projects to do and he ended up only partially completing two of them: 1. Replacing missing boards and 2. Cleaning, sanding, and sealing all wood decks. The first, I had to ask multiple times for him to include certain boards. As you can see in the photos, there’s one board I asked for him to do multiple times (once verbally and twice through email or text) and he assured me it would be replaced. It wasn’t. I also told him we did not have the wood to replace it and asked him to source it and he either ignored the question or said he saw we had the wood already. 2. The cleaning and sealing of the deck overall went well but on December 3 I told him that some of the stairs had fuzz from the cloth he used to wipe the sealant. He assured me it would wash away with rain, but as you can see from the picture I took today (January 13) it never did. Lastly, he refuses to be transparent about his prices. I’ve never had a contractor of any kind refuse to break down prices. When I asked that he finish replacing the 3 boards he never replaced (including the one in front of the front door that he said he would do) he sent me a change order for $1800 for only a few hours of work. When I asked that he only do the one by the front door, he said the price would not change. When I asked about the cost breakdown, he gave me a lengthy excuse as to why he wouldn’t do it. To me that shows that he’s not trustworthy.
Great communication and thorough assessment of the job.
Amazing work On time Responsive Flexible time
Alex with Tool Box Masters was great! We had him re-configure our cabinets in our kitchen island to install a small refrigerator. Alex was quick to respond and detail oriented. He was very professional, quick to complete the job and clean up. We love his work and will racket for future projects!
Installed my electric range. Responded right away and did a great job!
Alex did an amazing job installing my portable ac unit to the wall. He responded to my task in less than 3 minutes. He was nice when I had to reschedule last minute. He came here confident in what I needed done and everything came out exactly as I hoped for. And he got it done in less than an hour. I’ll definitely be using him for future projects. Thank you Aleksei :)
Alex is amazing, honest and reliable. Very hardworking, and I am grateful. Hire him, you won’t regret it.
Excellent communication and work ethic. I highly recommend.
10/10 stars Alex was bomb.com , he arrived on time , he answered any questions I had ,he offered his professional expertise and opinion as needed ,and this was overall a great experience. He is such a kind person that he noticed my degree was hanging off the wall because my double sided tape sucked , he went ahead and hung it up correctly for me , he was even kind enough to help me with a wall mirror, I am in the middle of revamping my apartment, I love to DIY even though the DIY can be a fail , I will definitely bug Alex for all the handy man stuff I can’t do . You won’t be disappointed booking his services , he mounted my 65” inch tv , he concealed the wires and placed everything back as needed , I couldn’t be more happier with the results. Thanks tool box masters !!!
