I had a great experience working with Tranport King! Guys did an amazing job, working with stairs, nothing broken, nothing scratched. The guys were patient and polite. I would definitely recommend Transport King to anyone needing movers.

Protect people stuff better. I have like four items that's completely broken. They also took way too many breaks. I paid for 5 hours and I should have paid for 3 hours with 4 guys.

I received a call the morning of the move to confirm. The movers showed up in a timely manner and quickly got to work moving my furniture. They were very professional and the head guy, Ray, continually communicated with me keeping me informed of what was being done. I recommend Transport King as someone to consider for your move. They did a good job.

This company scammed me out of my deposit fee. They never showed up for the job and stopped communicating when I asked for a refund of my deposit. DON’T use this company and definitely don’t send a deposit first.
If I could give zero stars I would. I hired this company over 3 weeks before my move and on the Monday the week of my move (scheduled for Friday) they told me they would not be able to complete my move as scheduled. They did offer some available times they could make - all during the work week or 3 weeks out on the weekend - to which I could not do as I have to move before my lease was up, or have to work. We chatted back and forth about scheduling, I obviously could not make the Wednesday mornings they offered me, so I then asked for a refund. They promptly stopped responding. It took two days and the threat of reporting to my bank and making a review to get a response that I would in fact get my refund. Here I am 5 days later and still no refund. Just multiple messages of “thanks for being so patient, we are getting you your refund once the owner responds blah blah blah”. I have gone ahead and reported to my bank but unless you want a company to back out the week of and then ignore your requests for your deposit back then DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
Unfortunately, I could only choose three qualities to rate our service. They definitely deserve more praise. Not only were they on time, respected both properties, they were also very professional. They handle all our items with care as if it was their own. Not only was the price THE BEST but I must admit, the employees were also top tier with their work ethic. We are extremely grateful and pleased with the service.
Ray and Dunk were fantastic! They arrived on time and started working the minute they arrived and didn’t let up until they were finished. Ray also worked a miracle as he somehow got everything in a smaller truck when we really needed a larger one. Both were extremely careful with our furniture and personal items. They were so polite and professional. Hire these guys and request Ray and Dunk if that’s an option. You won’t be disappointed!
This moving company is not good. Trust my review and word DO NOT HIRE. Contrary to other reviews I just hired them and they were terrible. They sent two guys to move a 2BR apartment. It took 10 hours! They purposely move slow to increase the hours so that the final balance is inflated. They also falsely advertise. They DO NOT wrap or protect furniture. They break it and damage it and leave you with an issue that they are not willing to resolve. Their marketing suggests that they protect furniture, disassemble and reassemble, which is furthest from the truth. Take my word for it—- DO NOT HIRE. I will also rate them on Google and anywhere else that I can to sane the next consumer from this catastrophe.
Overall, the crew did a good job, and we appreciate their hard work. We are still unpacking and getting settled, so we are continuing to inspect our belongings as we unpack each room. Unfortunately, we discovered that one of our bedroom nightstands sustained significant damage during the move. The top surface now has numerous scratches and scuff marks that were not present prior to the move. This nightstand was relatively new, had been kept in our guest room with very little use, and was in excellent condition before it was packed. After discovering the damage, I reached out directly to the lead mover to make him aware of the issue. Unfortunately, I have not received a response. While I believe the piece may be repairable, I should not have to incur the expense of purchasing repair materials or arranging repairs for damage that occurred during the move.
