Hired Varney to replace two outlets (laundry room and patio) with GFCIs. He showed up on time, got both done quickly, and went the extra mile with new cover plates and caulking around the outdoor box. Fair price. Would recommend.
Varney did an excellent job and I will not hesitate calling him again for electrician work.
Varney was very prompt & professional. He did a thorough job and was able to accommodate my requests.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend this electrician highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. He was always on time, professional, polite, and communicative. What was originally quoted as a two-day job turned into a much more complex four-day project once the work began and it became clear that the project was far more involved than expected. Despite that, he never cut corners, remained positive throughout, and stayed focused on doing the job correctly. What impressed me most was his honesty and integrity. Even though the job ultimately took twice as long as originally estimated, he honored his original quote and completed the work to an exceptionally high standard. The scope of work was extensive. He installed new lighting in the living room and master bedroom, replaced all of the existing can lights throughout the house so they matched the new recessed lighting, replaced a broken ceiling fan, installed fan/light combinations in multiple bedrooms, and installed a large 6-foot ceiling fan on an 18-foot ceiling. All of these locations had no existing wiring, so he ran all of the new electrical himself and installed fixtures where no fixtures had previously existed. He also took incredible care of my home. Any holes that needed to be cut into walls or ceilings to run wiring were patched, filled with drywall, and left ready for finishing. It is rare to find a contractor who pays that much attention to both the quality of the work and the condition of the home afterward. As an added bonus, he was wonderful about working around my dogs and was always respectful of my home and my schedule. Finding a contractor who is skilled, honest, reliable, and takes genuine pride in his work is not easy. This electrician exceeded every expectation I had. I will absolutely be hiring him again for additional electrical projects, including replacing outlets and updating more fixtures throughout the house. If you're looking for an electrician you can trust, look no further. Five stars without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The best electrician I have ever used!!! This is one I highly recommend
Absolute perfection! Varney is the gold standard for what a great electrician should be. He recently helped us out with wiring, recessed lighting, ceiling fan installations, and swapping out outlets in our condo. What stood out most was how wonderful he is to work with; he communicated every step of the way and genuinely cared about making sure everything met our expectations. He is a true hard worker who takes immense pride in his craft, ensuring every detail is done safely and correctly. We are so thrilled with the results and will definitely be calling him back for any future electrical projects. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Worked with Johnson for the first time for a couple of projects this summer - adding an outside GFCI outlet for a fan and also swapping an indoor ceiling fan. He was the most responsive of all the people I contacted, we talked on the phone a little about the projects so he had all the details. On the day he showed up when he said and was very friendly and professional. Super clean when he did the internal work, wore shoe covers, cleaned up all the trimmings and dust. Very happy and will def use Johnson again. Highly recommended.
Varney was absolutely fabulous! My daughter's fan stopped working in the middle of a heat wave here in San Diego, and a few people had told us that we needed to buy a new fan and he was able to fix it for us! Thank you, Varney! You saved our lives!
awesome experience
Varney was great! Great quality work and really invested in solving the electrical issues we’ve been having. Definitely will be using his services again.
Varney is the type of person you'd like to invite to a family get together. He's honest, respectful, ethical and professional. He immediately squeezed me into his schedule to deal with an electrical issue at my house. He completed the job and at a very fair price. Combine all of the above and I could not offer a stronger endorsement. You won't be disappointed!
Varney is outstanding in every way! He did a great job on my solar panels. He is fair, kind, punctual, great work ethic. I highly recommend him and plan to use his service regularly
did great work and took his time to make sure everything we wanted was right. honest and respectable. installed 4 ceiling fans for us and did amazing work. would highly recommend
I had an outstanding experience with Uhuru Group Services installing my EV charger. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. They took the time to explain the installation process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was completed safely and to the highest standard. I highly recommend Uhuru Group Services to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, and skilled team for EV charger installation.
Varney is everything you need in a professional electrician. He managed in less than 24 hrs an immediate response, schedule, install (ceiling fan)...all so I could surprise my husband. Top Marks!!
On time, good job. Will rehire in 6 mo. Hard getting service people to come this far East, but there's a LOT of solar out here.
Varney did an excellent job installing our new whole-house fan! He removed the existing fan and reframed and patched the opening to accommodate the much smaller fan and vent. His craftsmanship was excellent, and everything was finished neatly and professionally. He made sure the job was completed properly, and the new fan has made a huge difference during these warmer temperatures. Varney was responsive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. We highly recommend him and will definitely be hiring him again for future projects.
Uhuru Group pulled through for me in my Airbnb that I manage replacing a fan .
Varney helped me install a range hood, and the results are amazing! He's very punctual and professional, and he responds quickly too. He's worth choosing for everyone.
