Disappointing Communication and Customer Service I contacted Uribes Co through Thumbtack to obtain a quote for a gazebo installation. The contractor initially appeared interested and explained that he needed to visit my property to provide an accurate estimate. After exchanging messages and discussing scheduling, I requested his availability but did not receive a clear written confirmation. When I followed up, he stated that we had agreed to an appointment by phone and that I had failed to provide my address. While I understand that scheduling misunderstandings can occur, I believe a simple follow-up message confirming the appointment and requesting the address would have prevented the confusion. What disappointed me most was how the conversation ended. When I raised my concerns about communication and customer service, his response was, “Forget it man. I’m not a restaurant.” I respect contractors and understand that they have busy schedules. However, professionalism and respectful communication are important regardless of the type of business. I cannot comment on the quality of his work because we never reached the installation stage. My review is based solely on my experience communicating with the company as a prospective customer.
