Our work was about a day’s work of some framing, moving an outlet, adding insulation, drywall, and texturing. In the end they did not finish the job. All that is left is to put an access door on the wall. We have waited for that for a number of weeks. First it was on special order and they were going to build a door if it didn’t come in. Then Martin’s dad had knee surgery. Many times it was difficult to get a response. During the build they cut corners on a lot of things. The framing had gaps between the boards and not enough screws connecting the brackets. They didn’t sufficiently cover the furniture in the room until we started doing so. There was dried drywall compound and lots of dust on the floor that took about 4 times to mop up. Even simple things like covering the outlets before texturing was missed. The outlets got fouled up and my husband had to replace the outlets himself because plugging anything in would trip the circuit. My husband has now painted the wall and still no door for the bottom left hole you can see here in the picture. My husband is knowledgeable about construction work and years ago actually remodeled this same room. These days, he can no longer do all the work himself or he would have. We already paid for the access door, supplies and the job. Just waiting on the job to be completed. Martin texted me on Wednesday saying he can come today at 10:30a.m. No call, no show.

Patchy paint. Did not offer to come back to fix after we told them. Used cheap materials which caused the paint to bleed on ceiling. Apartment maintenance had to fix their work.
I did not end up hiring Martin, but he deserves a 5 star review for his VERY prompt response and his professionalism. If his interactions with me are any indication, I believe that he takes pride in his work and would do his best.
Martin and his team were great. On time and easy to work with.
Valenzuela was punctual, had great communication (not too much or too little), explained the work to be done, had very fair pricing, and arrived and left per estimated times so I could plan around the work being done. Would definitely recommend VCS, in fact I plan to hire them again in the future. Thanks for the great work...
Finished my basement remodel by putting in drywall on the ceiling and mudding and sanding everything. Very communicative about when they were coming and what they got done. Nice family business. Level 5 sanding. Not perfect but very good
Valenzuela were fast at a great price point. They skim coated and painted my ceiling, which now looks smooth and like new
The team was very responsive and timely. Martin was always respectful and responsive over the phone and in person. Pricing was reasonable. Quality of work could have been better. Had to go back and further finish/fix the drywall work they did
Fair price, quick turnaround, great communication. Would use again 10/10
Super happy with the team’s execution on my project to reduce texturing on my wall (so I can add wallpaper). Was a relatively small project, but they executed exactly what I needed, and they were quick and kind. Very easy to work with and highly recommend!
