Vanessa's Tutoring: German Lessons in Dallas, TX

About Vanessa's Tutoring

I tutor any level of Spanish or English (Elementary-University level), as well as high-school German. I was an exchange student in Mexico during college which is where I learned Spanish. I love speaking and teaching the language and culture. I was also an exchange student to Germany during high school. My full-immersion learning process has allowed me to have a superior knowledge of both Spanish and German and I love sharing that gift with others! I am an outgoing, fun, and energetic person. I have an extensive amount of experience working with students of all ages. I began tutoring when I was in high school, and continued to do so throughout college. I worked at Disneyland for 12 years as a tour guide and private VIP hostess to families from all over the world, including celebrities, athletes, foreign dignitaries, and government officials. This allowed me to work with people of all ages on a daily basis. After college I continued to do in-home, private tutoring. I have tutored Spanish, German, English, ESL and music (specifically the flute). I also became a substitute teacher, where I taught several long term assignments, including 9th-12th grade English, as well as varying levels of high school Spanish. I am a very engaging, positive and encouraging person and I know I would be a great fit for your student in any capacity needed. I hope to hear from you soon!

I needed to find someone to help my roommate with writing a paper that could connect with her. Vanessa met with her and quickly developed a rapport and immediately explored ways to get her to "think" to write the paper on her own.

She is great! I was in need of a SAT english tutor in order to compete for a spot at the United States Military Academy at West Point. She showed up on time and if needed would stay extra to make sure I actually improved. I was extremely confident heading into my test and was accepted into West Point. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of any help with english. In addition, she helped me with writing a letter to West Point on why I want to attend. She is great!!!

Vanessa has been tutoring me for about two months, and I have never learned so much in such a short period. She has many tips and tricks to help me remember all of the rules of the Spanish language. She is a very kind and energetic person who is always willing to change her schedule to fit your own. I would strongly recommend Vanessa to anybody who needs help!
