The movers were scheduled to arrive at 5p. They didn't arrive until 5:43p at the wrong building. I went outside to the back of the building where they would be loading, to escort them to the correct address. the move was scheduled and booked days before the move, so it was not last minute. During the booking, it was mentioned and discussed that the movers would have to wait for my arrival to the new address due to taking public transportation. The mover insisted that I rode with them. Regarding lights in the building, the movers were aware days before the move, as well as on the day of the move, that the electric company transferred service to the new address same day. ComEd disconnected service at that apartment a little after 10a. The rest of the building have lights, and the move was conducted in the back of the building where the porch is outside. When the movers arrived there was still daylight. The movers were late due to 3 prior moves before mine, arriving irritable and exhausted. They didn't start working until almost 6p. Around 7:20p, they were inactive for over 30 minutes and was asked what they were doing. The African guy said they were loading the truck, however the African guy wasn't doing anything but texting and talking on his phone. Regarding the moving items, there was only a 3 piece bedroom set, a chair, a brand new cloud chaise that they ruined by sitting it out on the back porch unwrapped or covered. A table, boxes and storage bens. Everything was already boxed up and ready to go and the move was only 3.8 Miles. The movers left storage bens open and in the grass next to the dumpster, allowing bugs and anything else to get in them. They incorrectly loaded the truck, not being able to fit everything inside so they left the dolly and other equipment at the old address to pick up once they were done at the new address. The movers never bought me any food. On the way to the new address, the African guy stopped at a gas station to get them some items and gave me a bottled water that I didn't ask for. I was already drinking out of a gallon of Eternal water! Once we arrived to the new address the movers parked in the backyard of the home where there are trees, grass etc. so naturally there are bugs! The African guy decided to place the ramp from the truck INSIDE of my kitchen, allowing hundreds of mosquitoes to invade the home. He's trying to make it seem like the home has an infestation which isn't true. They began to put a few items inside, then all of a sudden the African guy claims that he needs to get bug spray or he'll get sick. He asked where he can purchase bug spray, and I gave him options. They left with my items that had food that I just went grocery shopping for, my pet's food, as well as his litter box and other belongings. The movers were gone for an hour or so to the point that I made phone calls to inform people of what was going on. Once the movers arrived back to the new address, they again, placed the ramp INSIDE of my home which allowed more mosquitoes and anything else to enter, the entire time while unloading items and assembling the bed. I had to suggest that they put all of the items inside first, then put them in the correct areas to avoid anymore pests, as well as my pet getting loose! Some of my food was spoiled due to the movers leaving and being gone for an hour after arriving to the new address. They also damaged walls and banisters in the home. They damaged all 3 pieces of my bedroom set, broke a sound bar speaker, didn't place items in the correct areas, and there are some missing items. I posted an honest Review about my experience with Velox, and Velox responded with Slander. Seeing as though there is evidence of the damages that Velox caused to my new home and belongings, as well as Text, Call log, and Online correspondence, this will be handled Fair and Lawfully. I don't have any reason to make up lies. The movers have to lie to keep a job. Jose did all of the work!

George and Ezekiel were consummate professionals and made the entire moving experience incredibly smooth. They showed up right on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and were extremely polite and professional throughout the entire move. What impressed me most was the amount of care and respect they showed for my belongings. I never had to point out which items were fragile or ask them to be careful with certain pieces of furniture. They took the initiative to properly wrap, pad, and protect everything and handled my belongings with an impressive level of care. Nothing ever felt rushed or careless despite how quickly and efficiently they worked. We were working under a pretty strict timeline, and George and Ezekiel absolutely delivered. They maintained a great pace throughout the move and got everything done within the time we had without ever sacrificing the quality of their work. They came completely prepared with their own tools, and whenever an unexpected issue came up, they immediately figured out a solution and kept things moving. They were resourceful, experienced, and never seemed fazed by anything that came their way. On top of all of that, their pricing was excellent and extremely fair for the quality of service they provided. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. George and Ezekiel are professional, hardworking, efficient, careful, and clearly take pride in doing the job right. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

They were friendly, communicative, and knew the basics of the job, but overall the move was slower and less efficient than I expected. Timing was a challenge, and I also noticed a few items were scuffed or chipped during the process, which was disappointing. I think the team could benefit from more practice, a more streamlined approach, or additional manpower for larger moves. They were nice to work with, but I’d recommend improving efficiency and being a little more careful with furniture and belongings.

I had a great experience with this moving team! They did an excellent job, followed all of our instructions carefully, and were professional and respectful throughout the entire move. They handled everything with care and made the process much easier for us. I truly appreciate their hard work and great attitude.
