Vaughn did a great job building us a beautiful new set of brick stairs with a rain gutter runoff outlet. Reasonable price and he’s great to work with!

We are really pleased with the steps he built for us. Our front stoop had a large step down which was never to code. It was fine when we were younger but the older we got the drop down and step up became too much. He created a half step and everyone that has come to the house remarked on how nice it is and easier to maneuver. He finished the build out in less than 3 hours. And, he made sure the brick matched the existing pattern of our walk way and front stoop.
Vaughn worked out a nice quote- a lot lower than the others. He did a great job and let me know there was another existing problem, which he was able to come back and repair for a decent price.
First time using Thumbtack and hiring a contractor for my house and I feel lucky to have found Vaughn. I hired him to demolish and replace my front stoop and back steps. Vaughn is very friendly and professional: He was great at keeping me updated on progress and responding to texts, made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed and that we had the same vision in mind for the final product, paid special attention to brick and mortar color to match the rest of the house. He even painted my old rusted railing and filled in some pesky rat holes in my foundation. Could not recommend him more!
VH Solutions did a wonderful job repairing my steps. He was on time, professional and meticulous about his work. They look great. Thank you.
Great work on my steps ! Finished quickly , very professional and attentive
I wanted to hire a mason to do some work around the house, a magician came instead. Everyty was done beautiful. His skills are amazing. His response was quick, price for work was very competitive to others.
Vaughn and his team did a great job pointing up and sealing the outside brick of my townhouse, and filling in and supporting some brick in my basement. He gave the fairest quote compared with other companies and worked hard to find a scaffolding company that would fit in the narrow alley. He completed the job in the timeframe estimated and did a great job! Attaching before and after photos.
VH Solutions did excellent masonry work along with the installation of a French drain for my walkout basement. We worked together to select the brick and went with white marble chips around the walk out area to match my existing landscaping. We are looking to hire VH Solutions for upcoming projects.
Vaughn was a pleasure to work with. His communication was top notch and his work equal. He repointed some of the necessary bricks on my old row home and also did additional mortar work on basement stone. I would definitely use his services again! Before and after photos!
