We had our first 10 minutes assessment Which went well and I was told there will be follow up for scheduling classes. However there was no communication. When I sent a follow up message by text, I got a bunch of messages in a foreign language and nothing else!

Up to 15 minutes of the initial evaluation. 2. Chess tournaments every Saturday with awards for the winners and good sportsmanship. Sometimes cash prices and free class credits. 3. Student chess book reading group. 3 minutes reading per student and then taking turns. 4. Chess stories speed typing competition. keyhero.com 5. "Students for students" book writing that could result in an additional line in the CV/resume for the co-authorship plus royalties from the sales. 6. Video library of prior classes based on specific topics (ex: strategy, developing a plan, tactics, etc.) PAID services 1. Small group lessons based on the results of the evaluation. Duration of the class 60 minutes. Prices start at $20. Typical class structure: 10-15 minutes review the homework; 15 minutes new theory; 25 minutes to review students or grandmaster games. 2. Trips to Europe for chess tournaments and historical sites seen.

Love June so much! She is so sweet and patient with my son Jacob. He started at 3 and recently turned 4 and most teachers don't want to work with that age group. She is very punctual and great at sending out reminders and just communicating general....especially to only be 16! The kiddos love her, the price is very affordable, and she is happy to answer all of the parents questions. I would highly recommend her. I know there are other more experienced teachers in this company who have been doing it much longer but she is who I would choose any day of the week.
We agree to a date and time, however, Vic did not show up for the appt. Very unprofessional as I moved my schedule to accommodate.
Victor is an amazing chess coach. Taking my first chess class helped me understand the basics and become confident at playing. I would recommend having Victor as a coach if you want strengthen your game and become better at it. Five stars!!
My 6 year old son had his first chess lesson today, and it was such an excellent experience to watch happen. Vic is very engaging with the kids, and works very hard to accommodate everyone's learning styles. Vic also gives out stars which was the best part of my son's day. Needless to say, we've found our teacher.

Victor is a wonderful chess instructor, a true master of the game with a special ability to connect and inspire young learners. My daughter (9) has gained in her chess skills, and she looks forward to her weekly lessons, and to the many other opportunities ( like free tournaments) that Victor offers. Highly recommended!
Excellent lesson--doesnt overwhelm you with needless information;keeps it simple and concise.Encouraging and enthusiastic;gives homework as well.
Vic and June are excellent teachers. My son has learnt a lot in just a few weeks.
