Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating and unprofessional experience. Three technicians arrived around 9 AM and were at my home until almost 2 PM, yet the issue was never resolved. What was initially supposed to be an estimate turned into hours of them attempting to figure out the problem, with very little communication about what was happening. I had to rearrange and reschedule several things that day because I had no idea they would be here for that long. During the visit, they were sitting on my outdoor couch and furniture, spending time on their phones, and even used my microwave and brought it outside onto my front porch without asking. I completely understand that workers need to take a lunch break, but I believe asking permission before using appliances and furniture in someone’s home is basic courtesy. Food grease was also left behind on the pavers and things were not put back the way they were found with the outdoor furniture. They ultimately left without resolving the issue and even left the window/shutter down. I gave the company additional opportunities to correct the situation. They returned another time but left within approximately five minutes of us not coming to the door because they showed up announcing their time of arrival, and communication regarding when they would return was again unclear. I have video documentation of the condition of the area and what occurred during the visit. The biggest issue for me was the lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for my home and my time. After spending nearly five hours at my house, I expected either a resolution or, at minimum, a simple of text of when they would come back. They honestly did not look they knew what they were doing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

I just had Walter install a 4' x 8' ceiling mounted garage shelf. Not a technically challenging project for him but it looks great, priced better than his competitors, and he was easy to communicate with. Would definitely trust him on future projects!
Walter communicated during the entire process from scheduling to completion. His team was professional and efficient. I will certainly hire him again!
We hired Walter and his crew to hang some shelves in our home, and he did an excellent job. We happened to order the wrong size and he was able to correct that issue with no problem. He was professional, punctual, and paid great attention to detail. The shelves are perfectly level, securely installed, and look fantastic. He took the time to make sure everything was exactly where we wanted it and left the area clean when he finished. We are extremely happy with the quality of his work and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable and skilled craftsmanship. We will definitely use him again for future projects!

Every now and again, you find a DIAMOND on Thumbtack. Walter and his team are gifted in home projects and home design. A true talent in carpentry and he has a passion for design and really bringing a custom design to life. Truly impressive. I can't wait to work with you again.
He did several projects which included chair rail, crown molding building cornices. His work was excellent he was responsive and really listened to what I wanted. I recommend him.
Walter's team installed wood paneling in our stairway. He helped us come up with a design and was responsive to feedback, making sure everything was satisfactory. Work was completed within the time estimated and at the agreed upon cost. We are looking forward to working with them again for future projects.
Walter and his team fixed the baseboard problems caused by a faulty flooring installation. I recommend highly. Will be hiring Walter again for other projects.
Walter did an excellent job installing crown molding in my home! I was very impressed with his and his team’s work. In addition to the high quality work, he and his team arrived on time on the day that we agreed upon. I also appreciated that he and his team were respectful of my home- they covered my carpet and used tarps where needed. Walter was friendly, easy to communicate with, and his pricing is reasonable. Very pleased overall!
I randomly picked Walter to do a wall molding job that I didn’t have time to do myself. I usually do things like this on my own because I wanted it done a certain way with an excellent quality. Walter quickly set up shop and with an IPad took a photo of the wall and had a 3-D rendered display of what the project would look like. No guessing, no nonsense. Not only was I absolutely blown away at the quality of work, I also was enamored by how quickly and professionally the job was done and for a VERY reasonable price. Mitered corners, assembled by hand, sanded and painted… music to my ears. G&B home services is without doubt one of the best custom contractors out there. I recommend them for any home upgrade or remodel without reservation. I have already referred 2 colleagues to G&B home services for projects. Absolutely love the finished project!!!! Thank you Walter!!!
Walter was amazing! He hung a very delicate chandelier above our stairwell, and took the utmost care in doing so. The team left not a trace that they were ever here. Highly recommend!

Incredible service! Arrived on time to the minute. It took less than 40 minutes to remove the old ceiling fan and install the new one. Cleaned the area up perfectly after work was completed. Very professional service! I’d highly recommend their services to anyone!
